We had a couple of takeaway pizzas from here and enjoyed them. We didn’t have a menu on us and couldn’t find one online so had a create a pizza over the phone. I imagine there’s more on the menu that we would like. The pizza bases were thin and crispy. The tomato base was tasty but I think that might have been where they lost a bit of an edge. If you ask me it could have done with a little bit more of a tang. The cheese and toppings rounded it off for a great tasting pizza. I’ve read reviews about their delivery taking terribly long but we literally live over the bridge from them so decided to collect. So maybe I would hesitate if you’re planning on a delivery and suck it up and go and pick them up :)

Great tasting pizza and good service. My second trip here but my husband has been a fan for years. Our kids adore the very special fish-shaped pizzas.

We live locally and have known the caprice(its’ owners) and staff for over 15 years. The food is terrific, the house wine excellent, and the service friendly. The take away service is always just as good as the restaurant experience, but make sure you get your order in quick as this place is always busy, but with food like theirs its to be expected.

Sorry Caprice, I grew up on you but then realised I grew out of you too. Brocolli in your minestrone can be forgiven(it was good minestrone), and your pizza bases are delicious, but you use cheddar instead of mozzarella(which makes for an awful flavour and also creates pools of grease that just makes it vile to eat) and every time I went, were incredibly stingy with your toppings. Unless you have changed in the last few years since I last tried you, I won’t be back.

Had a lovely experience here, came for a birthday treat with mum and dad. We booked in advance and my meal was free as it was my birthday. Best thing about this restaurant are the pizzas as they are cooked in a real wood fire oven and they tasted amazing. We sat on the upper level — the décor was modern and the lighting was perfect, it really had a nice atmosphere. Our italian waiter was entertaining and very attentive. Will be ordering my take aways from here from now on! Would reccomend to a friend.

Lovely little italian restaurant. We go in for lunch, set 4 course for about £7. It is very small, so it is advisable to book a table. There pizzas are fab, as is their ministroni soup. Parking is hopeless on the high street, so I park in tesco carpark and walk along. They also do takeaway around the corner from the main entrance.

Caprice is a small Italian pizzeria which sells the most gorgeous freshly oven-baked pizza I’ve had in a while. It’s not the cheapest place but it does takeaway and sitting in the small, dimly lit restaurant is a good experience.
