I’m a fan. It’s not the best, but it’s friendly, very reasonable and honest. Not the usual chain hotels where you are just a number. It’s quirky, warm, quiet, and clean. Decent bar with good beers and a fresh and homemade menu. Not bad for 50 quid a night. Do pop over the road for a drink/​meal at the swan. Very nice place and fantastic in the summer outside, with a real fire in the winter.
