Jurys Inn Milton Keynes

Typical hotel for business travelers. Located downtown and within a 5 minute walk from the rail station.
My gripe is the iron and iron board are cheap and barely work. Meaning there will be no crisp shirt for me. For a business hotel it would be valuable to have amenities that are of a higher standard.
Otherwise a clean and friendly hotel.

Stayed there about 70 nights in the last 12 months on business and never had any complaints. Attracts a lot of clubbers at weekends so can get a bit noisy in the corridors, especially the smoking floor (3^rd floor!). Breakfast no complaints apart from the fact the staff never seem to have me down on b&b rate, so they ask to charge it to my room then have to check with reception when I say it’s inclusive. Dont bother upgrading to a superior room, usually around £20 extra for a few packs of biscuits, bottled water and an iron. Not worth the money I’m afraid. Staff very helpful and receptive to feedback and the bar staff define customer service, although drinks a bit pricey! If you are eating I suggest you try the Jury’s New Yorker burger tasty! I suggest asking for a front facing room or east facing room on the top floor for a great city view, especially at night!

Agree with previous reviews. Staying overnight with a hen party. Hotel is popular with visitors in their 20s and 30s. The side facing the main road can be a bit noisy in the evening at the weekend with lots of people coming and going — ask for a higher floor if necessary to minimise the noise. Spacious lobby and handy bar, albeit somewhat pricey.

Nice clean hotel near lots of bars and restaurants. Close to the shopping centre and the staff are very friendly!
Clean and Tidy as you would expect from most chain hotels these days!

I’ve only stayed here once as I attended a work’s Christmas party in the function room and stayed overnight.
The function room itself was really big and great for the party with a dancefloor in the middle and plenty of room for all the tables.
The bar area and the reception both looked really smart and we were dealt with really quickly and professionally when checking in and out.
The hotel room was basic but clean and had everything that we needed. There was not an iron or ironing board in the room though which was the only point that I felt let it down. It was perfectly adequate for staying the night.
We did not have breakfast so I cannot comment on the food, but I have no reason to doubt that it would have been totally satisfactory.
On the whole this is a really good place to stay if you are in Milton Keynes as it is within walking distance to the shopping centre and you also get a pass to put in your car so you can park outside for free.

Gerat new hotel. It is clean with a great service. Excellent location, five minutes walk from the mall and two minutes to the train station. This is a popular mid-​range hotel. I recently went to see a band in MK and they were staying here too!
