Yum, yum yum — definitely the biggest scone I’ve ever eaten, and probably one of the best as well. Not the kind of scone that you slice in half and eat with any dignity — break bits off and be prepared for a torrent of crumbs!

Fab wee dog friendly coffee shop. Breakfast menu and all the usual baked potatoes, soup, sandwiches and main and great homemade cakes. Service fab and they even provide a water bowl and sausage for your furry friends!

well done Angela Main, the owner of Bullands Coffee House. Bullands has a lovely quirky interior –note the upholstered toilet (used as a stool) at the entrance, the suit of armour and the dalek to name but three items. If you are a film buff, check out the posters on the walls. None of the furniture appears to match and it’s just right. The home baking is excellent, the staff are very pleasant and there’s a lovely outside sittery with roughly hewn wood benches and tables. Quite a find. We will be back.
