Cool bookshop/café/card shop/stationary type shop. With a pretty good selection of books, fiction and non fiction, kids etc, and a nice wee café attached to the rear of the store, this is quite a welcoming place on a cold winters day. More of a café for grabbing s snack or drink and moving on rather than longing all day(my kind of place) the atmosphere is pleasant if a little; one step up from the savoy centre caff’s. I’ve never really bee sure about the need to put coffee shops in bookstores, you generally don’t find coffee shops in libraries and to me they are pretty much the same thing and should therefore have the same atmosphere. In saying that, if you insist on having a coffee shop then please give us some big ol comfy seats and couches so we can have a good old laze. Anyway, this is a nice enough place. I just cant really see the appeal to heading here rather than somewhere that is a dedicated café rather than somewhere that feels like its pretending to be.
