Greggs ah what can I say it is the Wetherspoons of the baking and pastry world but I heart it! Another one of my guilty pleasures! Whenever I’m passing by this little shop on cross street I have to pop in to grab a quick coffee and a treat and at £2 for both items it’s great value.
I bobbed in for a quick latte and a lemon drizzle doughnut. Doughnut had sweet lemon filling and soft icing, coffee was hot and creamy– was pleasant.
Perfect if you need a quick sweet pick me up and only have a bit of shrapnel in your purse.
