The Kettle Sings

Used to love Kettle sings but not anymore, food quality has gone down and prices have gone up! Come on Kettle Sings buck up your ideas!

Surprised by the bad reviews, maybe it’s been a victim of its own popularity on those days.
We have visited this well located and completely unpretentious tea room many a time for tea & cake but last week we had a full meal which was very good and served promptly. Lasagne didn’t look the dry insipid jumble it usually is and steak pie was full of nice meat with a pleasant pasty lid.
The crumble dessert was excellent too.
All enhanced by the fantastic view westwards towards Colwall and Wales in early spring sunshine.
So good I am tempted to bring my elderly parents here soon.
Car park is a bit tight so if you are going to pay the £3 to park in a local car park after your meal, you may as well pay the £3 first and park in the little car park a short walk away, you can drive to another car park afterwards as the ticket will still be valid.

This is a lovely little tea rooms on the edge of the malvern hills. Been here a few times.
Great for coffees and snacks, also has a little gift shop with local cards etc.
Just had a lovely warm scone with jam, a toasted tea cake, and some yummy scambled eggs on toast. Very friendly service, even when our 2-​year old trashed their christmas decorations (oops, sorry about that again). Views are normally across Herefordshire, but very foggy today, so just some trees.
Great place to go for a quick tea with you granny or mum after a jaunt up to see Malvern Beacon.

The Kettle Sings is away from the centre of Malvern, just by the junction of Chase Road and Jubilee Drive, about half way between Wyche Cutting and British Camp. If you want a tea room out in the hills with a fantastic view of the Malverns (it has a huge window that runs the length of the building) then this is the place to come. They serve great Illy coffee and have a good range of cakes.
