The review is for the café sitting across the bar of the same name. The café is a touch less flashy than the bar. Yet it sits in a very nice road, in a very cosy space made of a long counter where to look and pick your food, followed by a space with coaches and comfy seats and then an outdoor garden with seats. Very cosy and comfy. Music is on point. Staff is plenty to help you out and food is good. We have been two times already and second was to get a coffee and carrot cake. Guys, the carrot cake is delish. Heavy slice, at least an inch of icing on top making every spoon a perfect mix of cake and smoothness. The best. For real. The good/bad news is that there are more great looking cakes and pastries in this shop than just this one. And the food we got last time was nice too. Really good spot if in the area for sure.

The first thing I noticed was the nice atmosphere at Zefi. The interior is chic and everyone there is well dressed. However, I found the food to be a bit on the average side. I had some dry spinach and ricotta cannelloni that wasn’t even warm enough to serve. Plus, I was still hungry afterwards. Slightly disappointing, as I have heard great things about Zefi. I’m told you go there for the experience, but the experience isn’t necessarily gonna satisfy your taste buds.

The venue is ok, i’ve only been for drinks, never for food but i dont find the atmosphere that exciting. The drinks arent amazing nor are they bad, just average. I think other bars on the same street are more fun.

Good Pizza, good salads but dessert is not so great. Service, ambiance and location are very good. Young hip people, nice people watching.

Fantastic. Quiche, fresh juice, lasagna, gnocchi, chocolate pudding all looked amazing. I could have stayed all day sampling each of the dishes. The only thing keeping me in check was the price. The garden in back is nice and on a sunny fall day like today, gave us a perfect atmosphere for enjoying a noon brunch.

Zefi and Jak’s are both kind of bars that if you go once you can’t hanging out there. Some football players from Chelsea hang out there. I was lucky to be there once I was at Jak’s after his last game. Good food Good booz Lovely atmosphere

Argumentative staff, poorly prepared food and then they have the cheek to include service. Deeply unimpressed.

Zefi is the same as Jak’s; they just relocated next door. Zefi serves freshly-made, pre-prepared cold salad classics such as salmon, grilled chicken with vegetable and pasta sides. The food is of a general high quality but it is not cheap. The salmon and 2 vegetable sides will run 15GBP. But if you’re looking for a healthy option in an expensive neighborhood, it’s not a bad option. Baity Kitchen across the street is also very good.

This place is flying WAY under radar but I stumbled in one early afternoon after fleeing the madness that is Harrods. Located on a small, blissfully quiet street(not sure if it’s technically Chelsea or Knightsbridge but regardless, Kensington, aka bring loads of cash), the sight of an inviting couch just inside and a tastefully decorated room called out to me. I only meant to stay for one drink, but the staff was so friendly that I ordered the first of many mimosas and a «tricolore» salad(tomato, mozzarella and avocado). The salad was great-fresh and tons of cherry tomatoes– and the mimosas were delicious. Refreshed, I was ready to face the world again but then one of the bartenders(very, very good-looking) asked if I was going to stay for«the tennis.» I had almost forgotten. Murray fever had swept the UK and Andy Murray was set to battle it out with Roger Federer during the Wimbledon Finals later that afternoon. I followed him to the back as he wheeled out a giant flat screen TV, and joined the gathering crowd of mostly Murray fans. Eight, very emotional hours later, and after indulging in countless alcoholic beverages, plus about 5 cups of tea and a giant slice of tiramisu, I staggered out into the fading evening light. Yes, I do love tennis. But having been lucky enough to watch Serena kill it live on Centre Court earlier that week, and feeling significantly less invested in Federer v. Murray, I don’t think I would have stayed if the atmosphere at Zefi had been any less wonderful. Despite the tensions(at least four very vocal Federer fans in the packed house despite most people rooting for the obvious hometown favorite), and despite the champagne and drinks that never stopped flowing, everyone was super polite, and the vibe remained relaxed and fun. Maybe it’s because it was just tennis? Would be interesting to see if the vibe would have changed if we were watching the Eurocup final instead. Either way, it was a very civilized and beautiful way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Definitely recommend. P. S. The people… overwhelmingly female, with an emphasis on modelesque European: skinny jeans, expensive accessories, and made for tv blow-outs. The staff: gorgeous across the board. It will probably not make a difference in the service or in your overall experience, but word to the wise… do yourself a favor, come correct and leave the frumpy at home. You’re welcome.
