Great full english and lunch menu but is just a café. Good for breakfast/​lunch and reasonable prices. Has ftee wifi and serves ok coffee — good place to catch up with friends over coffee/​catch up on some work

Plenty of seating and windows in this bright, comfortable café make it a great place for a meeting or to grab coffee with friends. There are also plenty of plug outlets — and free wifi — if you’re looking for a study spot.
Zee Food is a great alternative to Starbucks for a work/​coursework café. But if you’re looking for a sit-​down meal, you could probably do better. It took thirty minutes to get a sandwich — which was essentially just bread, cheese, and tomato for too high of a price.
Overall, the atmosphere is great, but the food is nothing special.

I have given this place a couple chances, but it disappoints each time sadly. While the menu is expansive, most of the food is uninspired and lacks flavor. Even basic staples such as salads, sandwiches, and soups fail to meet average expectations. On top of this, everything is overpriced. I could get a much better salad at Mizuna down the road for £3 less or a sandwich at an Italian deli that is much more satisfying. Zee Café is ideally located and has a nice bright space, but I would say to take your appetite elsewhere as it’s not likely you’ll be leaving satisfied. I’d say it may be a good place to meet for coffee or a drink to catch up with a friend, but that’s about it.

The food is good and the café is bright, spacious with lots of tables. The service is lacking a bit though and could definitely be improved.
I’ve visited this café twice now and they have a choice of pastas, sandwiches, soups and drinks. The prices are ok for central London, I had pasta and a cola for £8. The service is slow and seems to take a while to be served, both times at lunch time.
If you are looking for a more leisurely experience then this the place, but there are cheaper places with better service nearby.
