I had a warm tofu salad the other day. It was tasty but for a tenner there wasn’t’t really much if it.
I use to really like wagamama… especially their soups but after few recent visits I’ve noticed the food is not as good as it use to be :(

Wagammamas was great when it opened years ago. Went to the one in westfeilds lately and was really disappointed
. My daughter had to return her fish dish as salmon not cooked and my meal was cold. Staff solemn. No discount for the inconvenience.

So, THIS is the Wagamama’s I’ve been hearing about.
Wasn’t so sure after a mediocre experience at one in Boston, Mass. This one more than made up for it. Yes, I had the chicken katsu and yes, it was quite good. It is, however, a bit simple. Chicken with white rice with gravy. Was kind of expecting something MORE for all the raves it gets.
Dining companions got the ramen soup (good call) and a duck dish that she wouldn’t let me share.
We also got apps — don’t miss the dumplings. Loved them with duck and pulled pork. Yummy!
Overall, enjoyed our experience here. Lots of choices for kids. Service could’ve been a little more friendly or helpful. He kinda seemed lost when we asked questions. And quiet too.
