I would go back again for a fresh tasty brunch. Delicoous chicken wrap sandwich with garlic mayo, rocket and with freshly cooked chips(fries). The service was prompt and courteous. Other members of my group had tasty eggs which I tried. I’ll be back!!!

I had a great Sunday lunch at Tod’s Bistro. Its wonderfully traditional on the inside, but run by a very young set of people. It seems to have adapted into a great British Gastropub without looking like its trying too hard. There’s a large range of items to choose from, and I ended up having the roast chicken. It came up pretty quickly, always a plus, steaming with vegetables and mash. One of the nicest lunches to be had in Islington. Its not pricey either, and in a very chilled environment. I love sitting outside, even in the cold weather, and watching the walkers on Upper Street.

Tod’s Grill and Bistro is believed to have different ownership than when I first discovered the place. It got a kickin’ new sign as well. The first time I tried this place whatever it was then known as(it morphs like Prince) I thought this was the best Med. food around. I stuffed my face here with no regrets. The food is still really good and the atmosphere(part med, part New York Italian restaurant) is really inviting. The staff are really, really warm and took good care of my father when he was in from my country of origin.(I’m transnational, remember). There are usually fixed menu choices available as illustrated by the board outside but I always just get the mixed mezze and eat it by myself. Once I find something I like, I stick to it. I recommend this place, no matter who owns it. Tod’s looks and tastes really good.
