You have no other choice, you have to eat here if you are hungry and in the departures lounge of the Eurostar(unless you are happy to settle for a packet of crisps and a Mars from WHSmiths). I don’t like this place at all, the service is soooo slow, even though the staff know that everyone is waiting for a train and will rush off as soon as their train is called. There is never a smile and you tend to get barked at rather than spoken to. The prices are way over the top for what is served, but as I said, there is nowhere else so they are out to milk you for all you have before you jump on that train. The food is actually OK when it gets to you, which is why this isn’t a 1 star review. I put as much excitement and enthusiasm into this review as I could muster, but probably reflects my very beige and dull attitude toward this place. Writing this review I realise I am shaking my head in despair just thinking about the place. It could be so much more: move faster, wear a smile — 2 very basic things that could help get so many more people to eat there.
