The Pied Bull is an old man’s pub. If I had false teeth and a cane I would fit in so well here. But I don’t, so I feel slightly out of place. Generally though, no one cares that I’m young and robust. Everyone is quite polite and welcoming. The prices are reasonable too(£2.50 per pint £3.50 for a rum and coke) and if you’re hungry, they’ll feed you, because they serve food. In the summer, when the youth go out to Streatham Common in droves and get wild, the place is swingin’. I guess you can call the fun factor of this place ‘seasonal’. Either way, it’s all good. If you want to get a cheap pint locally go to this liquor hole. If you want a party atmosphere where you can dance on bars naked I would have to recommend going somewhere else.
