Came across this little gem when some colleagues and I were roaming the streets of London, and not quite ready to return to our quiet hotel rooms. Being one of the few places open at the late hour, the bouncer let us inside and we were serenaded by a full band, including a very talented piano player.
Since we arrived so close to closing, we only had time to enjoy a drink or two, and a small selection of songs. But, the atmosphere here transported me to an old-​timey nightclub vibe, and I was bummed when the waitress came to let us know they would be shutting down for the night.
But this is definitely a great spot for a weeknight hang. Plenty of seating, delicious drink, and good music. What more could you ask for?

Apparently The Piano Works is also a restaurant but I can only comment on it as a dancing and drinking venue. What makes this place special is the live band that plays songs upon request. Consequently the song selection is varied and funny at times. It’s good fun! There’s no entrance fee and no queueing but drinks aren’t cheap. Anyways I want to mention that they serve Martini Bianco, which is not a thing to take for granted in London. Thanks Piano Works!

Great place to hear live music and enjoy cocktails with a group of friends! We went for dinner and drinks on a Thursday night and it was a wonderful atmosphere. You write your song requests on a napkin and they play it on piano, drums, and sing!
