We arrived at the café in the afternoon and there was one other table being used, we had a quick chat with the man working at the restaurant and he mentioned that it had been a quiet day for him and that usually it was a bit busier. We didn’t mind per say that it was quiet as we had a lot to catch up on even after being at the gym earlier that morning. I ordered the mango iced tea that I had been drooling over from their instagram page, sadly it came out not looking as amazing as it did in their pictures but it still tasted delicious and I was intrigued that they used mango slices in the tea to give it the flavour. C ordered a green juice from their juice menu which I didn’t manage to get a photo of. We did consider ordering another round of juices from here but instead decided to wander down to another tea shop and make a little ‘tea crawl’ afternoon, but otherwise we would have happily stayed longer. On our way out we had another chat with the man at the counter and when mentioning that we had found the café via instagram he would not let us leave without taking a slice of cake home with us as we had not tried any while being there. I chose the caramel and almond cake(which is also gluten free) and it was a very tasty piece of cake that we enjoyed later when we got home.
