Great little(pun intended) bar in Tooting that I stumbled across. The plan was to go home, but we thought what’s one more drink at a new place. Lots of great cocktail options on both a menu and a specials board, all for under £10. I don’t know when I’ll be back in Tooting, but I’d definitely come back here!

Cozy place with an extensive drink list. and prices from 4.50 pounds(for the chilled white wine with blackcurrent/blackberry liqueur) to 7.50 for most drinks. The cocktails are well-prepared: strong but not so much you don’t taste the other ingredients. It also has a range of ciders and wines by glass. My only issue was the music was WAYTOOLOUD. Good tunes, from pop hits to classics, but at screaming volume.

Had a very very delicious old fashion here, I walk by the bar daily and if there is space to squeeze in, I will make my way there. Staff is friendly and vibe is very easy going and comfortable. The music is also very good, has lead me to discover new artists :) highly recommend checking it out!

My new favourite bar, one more reason to go to Tooting of an evening, and great cocktails that won’t break the bank! The staff are lovely too, the music great and it supposedly spot to while away a few hours and drinks! c*

Tooting is an odd place. Before the Tootopian options opened, goodness only knows where the young pros and South London hipsters hung out. The Antelope, Tram & Social and Gorringe Park were all regular and predictable haunts, but what was needed was a bit of originality. A bit of style. Rushing to and from work, you could walk past it very easily. My boyfriend and I were brought into The Little Bar by Martin, owner and gent, one Sunday afternoon. It was before opening, and he was so obviously psyched about his new venture that we couldn’t wait to return. He made a real point about learning our names«Rosie — that’s easy. My grandmother was called Rosie». We discussed musicians that would be invited, the craft ale behind the bar and music he would play. I said Nick Drake was my favourite beyond all musicians and lo, when we came back at 4 o’clock Martin was waiting behind he bar with ‘Northern Sky’ on the stereo. A good selection of drinks and bar snacks are available, but the total and genuine attention to making a punter feel as welcome as an old friend is the true success in this fantastic addition to Tooting… and indeed, to South London.
