Great Greek food in a fun little area! The food is excellent with local(Greek) specialties and local ingredients. They have an outstanding cocktail list, however no beers, which was disappointing because I haven’t had a Mythos beer in forever and I was hoping for one. The space is very small so make sure you book a table ahead of time.

What a find. Picture the scene: you had a specific place in mind and then it turns out it doesn’t open on Sunday’s. So you go to many other places but with it being a bank holiday weekend everywhere is hoaching(busy for the non scots among you) and there are no tables to be seen anywhere then add in the fact that you cut your foot earlier and your shoe is filling up with blood(slight exaggeration but any excuse to insert a Romy and Michelle quote) so you really want to sit down. If you are still with me then you can imagine our euphoria when we stumble across the life goddess, and no sooner have we looked in then a super friendly waiter has come over and showed us to the perfect table and then apologetically tells us that happy hour is due to end soon but not to worry he will give us some time to get our order in so effectively extending it just for us. Every other member of staff had an equally eager to please, cheery disposition which meant that our quick drink turned into around 5 and some nibbles. It is a real shame that we weren’t hungry for a meal as all of the starters we shared were delicious. The mushrooms were really good and full of flavour. The meze had a good variety and the stuffed vine leaves were really tasty. The drinks were amazing, each prepared with attention and this came through in the flavour. I would highly recommend the sazerac and rose gimlet. I am planning another visit soon with less blood in my shoes and more room in my stomach as the amazing smells from the kitchen must be further investigated.
