Great place for a late night meal. The food, service and ambience were great.
They also have live music downstairs. Quite a nice find!

A great find by my friend… and even better than they accept the Taste Card as well giving us 2−4−1 on all dishes!
We sat on the terrace (which is heated and have a cover for the British weather). The service was impeccable and attention to detail shone through.
The food was really good quality: I really enjoyed both the baked haloumi and the tzatziki.
Between the two of us we ate a substantial amount and it was all pretty good quality… although on reflection I don’t think we’d have happily paid the full sticker amount.

Wasted time. Place is atrocious .

Typical Greek food but they pack you in like sardines. You actually bump elbows with you neighbors. They charge £5 additional per person if they happen to have live music (which happens to be awful tonight.) you can’t actually have a conversation.
We had to wait 72 minutes to get our starters. They were good, but the wait spoiled the it. And for the very slow service which they automatically charge 12.5%
Impossible to enjoy the food being bumped every 2 seconds by the waiters. and the terrible noise.
Not worth the money.

Elysee is just OK in my book. Didn’t have a terrible experience, but I won’t be back.
The service was outstanding. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly enough without being annoying.
The place itself is great. There is an outside rooftop terrace to sit on, and the décor inside was glitzy and really nice.
But none of that matters, does it, if the food is just mediocre?
We shared a bottle of wine and appetizers– hummus, Tzatziki, lamb meatballs, Spanaokipta, and calamari. Nothing was memorable, and at the end of the night and with a coupon, it was £35 pp. Eh. There’s better food out there.

Booked for a group of friends to celebrate Women’s Day last Saturday on the recommendation of a friend. We were not dissapointed. The food, service and atmosphere were exceelent. After the meal, we enjoyed the live band and danced away till the early hours of the morning. Overall One Smashing Night!!!

This place is great! Try to get a booking for the upstairs terrace if you’re able to. I’ve been here with clients a few times so I’ve been able to sample a number of things on the menu. This place has great Mediterranean food with an extensive menu so everyone can find something. I’d highly recommend the monkfish skewers, the aubergine dip, and the dolmas.
The terrace is bright and airy — a great place to enjoy a nice glass of rosé on a sunny afternoon. I’d definitely recommend Elysée if you’re looking for a place to have a nice lunch in an inviting and breezy ambiance.

Real disappointment, not great food, expensive and poor service.

We came here for a friend’s engagement party and was v impressed with how swish everything looked! I didn’t eat much, but what I did was good… Mostly I was suffering from odd stomach cramps (probably due to the dinner place we’d been to previously). Anyways, the staff took pity on me and brought me things to settle my stomach. They were also very kind with the cake that had been ordered as a surprise — and set everything up beautifully for us :)

Big place, for nine people we were squeezed onto a table of 8. Mezze starters good, mains were not Greek style food and mine was dry. It’s not terrible just not Greek. Good for people who want to entertain large groups just share Mezze and drink.

The food is good but take a good look at your bill: we were charged £12 for two halves of shandy and the 25% Gourmet Society reduction to the bill hadn’t been applied. To be fair, the waiter reduced the price of the shandy (to £6 a pint still very steep) and applied the discount when I asked but if I wasn’t so eagle-​eyed I feel we would have been ripped off.

Had it not been for the A Frame sign that said «Rooftop Garden» I would have walked right passed this delightfully precious place.
My first impression was it is HUGE. You would never guess it from the the front. We were welcomed in by one of the owners of the place. He mentioned that it’s been in the family for over 50 years and they just revamped the whole space recently.
I’m currently looking for a place for a group dinner, so this is in HIGH consideration with all of the group accomodations they have. Just to test out their food we ordered some starters.
PLACE: Since the whole reason I stopped was the rooftop garden, we decided to head up there. They have a great sitting area with retractable cover for the spontaneous rain that comes in London. Great investment I would say. They also have heating lamps along the walls, for cooler nights, also perfect!
FOOD: Ordered calamari and halloumi to starter share and it was delicious. I’m a new fan of halloumi, and still wonder how I have lived this long with out it everytime I have it. This was no exception. The calamari was pretty decent. Not spectacular, but not bad. I would get it again.
PRICE: For two starters and a glass of Rose, it was Under 20. For the TCR I thought that was pretty good. Many of the patrons around us were having a bottle, I didn’t look at those prices, but I would say it would be a pretty good price for a small group sharing.
Overall, I really liked it friendly people, great space, good food. Hope the group will like it as well.

Great place for a central London mezze in the summer: make sure you book a spot on the roof terrace to enjoy this place to full effect. I went with a large group with various different dietary needs, and the staff did well to cater to our demands :) brilliant to be eating al fresco in such a built-​up part of the city.

Myself and three friends went to the Elysée on Friday night and oh what a night it was! Firstly we were given such a warm welcome when we arrived. we went upstairs and found a lovely cosy corner to share a bottle of wine! The atmosphere was great — would recommend it to anyone looking for a traditional Greek night in central London! FAB!

I can’t really understand the negative comment on this restaurant, I personally think it’s a real find in London! A remarkable makeover has transformed this once quiet and uninspiring Greek restaurant into what I believe is one of the West End’s most impressive new night spots. A resident jazz band plays every night apparently, and when we were there last weekend, we were truly blown away. Everyone, and I mean everyone was dancing to fresh new covers of Gnarls Barkley and the like, very cool!
Once the Greek show started, live singers (flown in from Athens?!) took to the floor, the band was changed in a matter of minutes, and the the place was transformed from a beautiful funky jazzy restaurant into a happening Greek nightclub. Plates were even being smashed in true Greek style, and though very much a predominantly Greek crowd, it had a feel of Little Italy in Soho — another of my favourites. We only had some small mezze dishes as we were not massively hungry, but all were fresh, tasty and well prepared.
We didn’t leave until around 4am which goes to show what a fun night it was!
Not cheap, but worth every penny.

do not go here — have had bad experiences each time I have been there.
