Intimate venue, perfect if you want to get close to the action! Drinks wise, it’s standard price at a gig, but it’s a fully stocked bar, so it’s sets the bar higher, as you literally have full rein to go wild! Not that I did that at all lol. The toilets were kinda meh, the floor was quite wet, but hey I guess you expect this at a concert. Overall, I can’t see any big bands playing here but if you’re into alternative bands, this is the PLACE!

This venue has such huge potential, due to its size and nice, high ceilings, but it’s let down massively by the awful, awful sound quality. I’ve yet to see a gig here which I’ve thought sounded good and it’s honestly ruined my live experience for a couple of my favourite bands. I’m not sure how they manage it, but the bass is often the only thing you’re able to hear, while everything else is either massively distorted or too quiet. It can also become a pain to get in sometimes, as the door staff are very slow at checking people’s tickets/bags/ID. Expect to queue for a while.

I always used to go here with my mates on a saturday night. Its great if you like dancing, drinking(for a cheap reasonable price) and if you’re into indie music. As the night progresses the dance floor becomes packed, and the music gets cheesier, you’ve been warned. But it’s alwaysa great night, you dance the night away. The crowd is always young, and the entry is not expensive, around £5.00 with ID. There are two floors, and downstairs is where the rock, metal crowd hang, as the music is heavier but still popular and reconizable. There are tables so if you want to sit and chat that’s cool to. It’s situated right next to the Boston Arms, so if you want a pint before it’s always cool. The venue is also a music venue on other nights, such as the Dirty Water club downstairs on a friday, and gay bangra nights on other days! They put on a variety of nights on different days so check it out.

The Dome is a very spacious venue next to the Boston Arms in Tuffnell Park. It hosts an eclectic variety of live music nights throughout the week. The stage is big, the drinks are reasonable(£2.50 a pint), and there’s places to sit if standing to watch the bands is too much effort for you.
