Liked it. Small, intimate, casual place, very nice food. Good variety of seafood dishes, but not much else on the menu. However, everything our group tried was great! Also, the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. Would definitely go back again! Rahul

This place was such a find! I was having colleagues in and we needed a space for lunch before an event and this had great Unilocal reviews. And so we went. Despite having a name with both Dock and Seafood in the title, there is no water here. It is a lovely two level spot though and has a nice menu. We did the two courses for £15 and the meals were great. We tried things like crayfish, calamari, mussels with excellent sauce and some nice salads. And the service was on point and the food delicious and the price really good. A great spot for sure!

We got to the restaurant a bit early but they let us sat down. We had haddock and chips, sea bass and ravioli. The chips could be a bit crispier but the fishes were spectacular. Then we had dessert, the best panna cotta ever. Very friendly staff!

I have had the fish & chips to take away a few times over the last year. While the quality is usually good(the fish is fresh, from nearby Billingsgate market), the portion size has been getting smaller and smaller. The amount of chips is really meagre, even if you get the large size. And if you do get the regular size, you usually can count the chips on two hands…

We were looking for a nice lunch spot and decided on here(as mentioned in other reviews, the Canary Wharf/Docklands area is filled with chain restaurants). I tried getting a booking for 3pm but they close then, so we booked for 2.30pm instead. The restaurant is lovely but don’t come expecting waterfront views. We sat on the mezzanine and had the place to ourselves. The lunch menu was good value at 2 courses for around £15 — we decided to get a mix of dishes and share between us. Crayfish salad with avocado, calamari with rocket and buffalo mozzarella with tomato and basil. All these dishes were flawless and really packed a punch of flavour — very impressive! The highlight of the mains was definitely the mussels served with white wine and cream sauce. The bread(with cranberries through it) was perfect to dip into the sauce. I would have loved this dish on my own but sadly had to share it. I also really liked the Mediterranean salad with pomegranate, pistachio and salmon. Everything was really fresh and flavourful. We also ended up getting dessert and I was pleased there were a few dairy-free options. I got the granny smith and lemon sorbets — granny smith with a nice change from the usual and there’s not much you can say about lemon sorbet! The bill ended up being a fair bit pricier than we expected, I think the soft drinks were on the expensive side. The restaurant didn’t ever make us feel rushed and it was a really nice place to chill out for an hour or so. The location is a little odd but I’m not that familar with the area so maybe it’s handy for office workers.

Fish and chips alright. Fish is fresh and well cooked however chips slightly blend. Deco at place is ok. Am slightly strict with reviews 3⁄5 is a good score.

Delicious! I ordered the crayfish avocado salad and fish and chips. The salad was very fresh, nice texture, nice flavour, overall very good. The fish and chips was easily one of the best I have ever had. Freshly made, very tasty, excellent quality. I loved the food, and I loved the ambiance of the restaurant. I will definitely come back.

Massively underrated little number, just 5 minutes walk from Canary Wharf. The food is very reasonably priced and freshly sourced straight from Billingsgate Market. Topped off with a comprehensive and well researched wine list to complement all meal types, this place can successfully cater to both business, romantic and just general get togethers alike. I’ve been here a good number of times now and have never left disappointed. It also benefits from polite and accommodating staff in a very clean and chic atmosphere! They also offer take away services. This was very professionally finished — I even suggested this as a lunch idea for some colleagues at work, all of whom thought the food was fantastic.

Friendly, clean, great food. Four of us had fish and chips and we all were extremely happy with it. Scallop appetizer was delicious, perfectly cooked. I don’t know it was so quiet, you would think it would be packed based on quality and price.

The Dock Seafood really offers food for mouth and eyes, not only does the food taste great but is also served in a very arty and stylish manner which enhances the whole experience. The space is beautifully decorated and the lighting is absolutely amazing, good for romantic dinners but also casual gatherings with friends and colleagues. Another thing that caught my attention is a wide range of wine selection; one can choose a wine from almost any part of the world to go with a delicious fish meal. Most dishes are also reasonably low fat and healthy which is very important in my book. In summary it is an A++.
