I think this could easily be a 4 star depending on what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for a little corner pub to catch a game at, this is straight up your alley. You know, one of those pubs where when the games return from commercial, everyone’s heads turn up to the monitors and you can practically hear a pin drop. I have a distinct feeling that since it’s surrounded by pubs, that there’s a solid bunch of regulars that have earned their places that hold up the walls.
Great Sutton Street is kind of like Plinko, everyone will either settle into Slaughtered Lamb, 1920, or here. Since I’ll typically settle into a different scene, I’ll leave the good seats for the regulars, but it is a nice little corner pub.
