Great food and great location. The view made the dinner much better! Worth trying the cannelloni which was amazing! Place had a weird smell around, hence the 4 stars.

Poor service and you will eventually lose your hunger before food or even water will be served. Penne Pasta and risotto were too bland. This one star is for margarita pizza which was good!

For what is quite possibly the best restaurant view on the Thames, Strada is a surprisingly cheap restaurant. I’ve visited a couple of times before and always felt a little let down by the food and service. Decent Italian food should not be difficult to churn out in these quantities. This visit was no different. Monday night’s £5 pizza deal is fantastic but the food was at best described as average, even at that price. The base was so crisp that when cut into it sprayed shards of brittle dough across the table. It wasn’t just mediocre; it was really pretty bad. The toppings were high quality but a very limited selection for vegetarians(and for meat eaters too for that matter — a total of about 3 veggie and 4 regular pizzas). The wine selection is OK but starting at the £17−18 a bottle mark for house wine is just lunacy for a chain restaurant. If you’re looking to eat in London Bridge you could do a lot worse(I’m looking at you Cote) but equally there are some amazing places nearby far cheaper than Strada(The Rose on Weston Street for instance).

Rarely do I work in London Bridge but thought it was a good opportunity to make use of my tastecard. I haven’t been to Strada in ages — especially since the one in Putney closed down. I think the food is quite good for a chain restaurant. That day I went for the Vesuvio pizza. It looks big at first but the crust is so thin there’s no problem finishing it. Our server warned me that it was quite spicy but I thought it was okay — probably a bit spicier than what you’d expect from a British chain. Overall good service — the one thing I really enjoyed at this location is the view. Pick a really nice day to have lunch and I felt like I got a small mini tan! Hey when it’s sunny in London, you take full advantage of getting as much sun as you can… especially when you don’t know when it’ll come out again!

My partner and I needed a late evening meal on Friday and decided upon Strada. Getting to the restaurant around 9:30PM, we didn’t have a problem getting a table even though it was still fairly busy. This was the only highlight of the evening. We ordered everything at once — drinks, starters, and mains. Our drinks were a glass of wine and a glass of prosecco. You would think that it wouldn’t have taken long to get the drinks, but we had finished our starters and mains before even getting the drinks! Our waitress asked at one point if we had received our drinks, but didn’t do much after we said no. Finally, my partner got the wine, but I waited a few more minutes for the prosecco. The food was very average. I love arancini, but this was basically fried cheese. I couldn’t make out any rice in them at all. The carbonara is flavorless and full of fatty, poorly cooked bacon. Don’t waste your calorie intake. I was tempted to complain, but I didn’t for two reasons: 1) I couldn’t even find someone to get us our bill, and 2) I just wanted to get out of there. Never again.

It was Valentine’s Day. I had some nice romantic Strada vouchers. So we headed to Strada’s More London branch for a bite to eat. For starters, we nibbled on some antipasti. I hadn’t had avocado for at least two weeks(worst blogger ever) so was pleased to find some on the plate, along with a small but tasty meat selection. We also obviously ordered up some Arancini rice balls, because they’re the greatest thing on the planet and I just want to eat bowls of them for the rest of my life, please. Mains were a Vesuvio spicy pizza(boyfriend) and a Seafood Linguine(me). Ever since I cooked up THE best linguine from a Hello Fresh box a few months back, I’ve been on the hunt for one that lives up to my epic(box-assisted) culinary standards. Unfortunately, Strada’s was a bit lacking on sauce, but I did enjoy the mussels and prawns. The Vesuvio was great too, and kinda made me wish I’d pizza-d up as well. Our server was lovely — enthusiastic and friendly, and the food came out in good time — we were in and out in just over an hour. By far one of the best things about More London’s Strada is the AMAZING view over the Thames and Tower Bridge, which makes it a pretty impressive date night location. The food, although still tasty, wasn’t all the greatest and the portions a little on the small side for the price, but I had a great time and got to eat Arancini with an incredible view!

The good about this place is it’s great for big groups, with an amazing view of the harbor and the London Bridge. And the atmosphere is quite but lively. The bad? The food took 40 min to come out. The food was mediocre. Everything was bland and not well seasoned. We had to return our seafood linguini because it was cold and clumped together. The calamari was also cold. The spinach pizza had no flavor, but the crust was delicious. All that said, The waiter was very polite and said he’d put a rush on our second orders but it still took forever! Not sure I’d come back here again.

More London is a very modern place full of people in suits who probably work in big companies and handle lots of money. They also like much in style with a great view of the river, the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. We were in the area for team lunch and decided to take advantage of the view and able have some Italian good which we all love. We got the set menu for 2 courses which is £12. The roasted avocado starter is amazing and goes with the current avocado and superfood trend that’s going around. Are we all secretly hipsters? For my main I chose a pizza with mushrooms which was delicious and so big I could barely finish it. My colleagues also enjoyed their food very much. The cheesecake dessert was a little bit too cheesy for me(I like creamy flavours more) but everyone else liked it so I suppose it is a matter of taste; it is a tiny difference anyway so you’re only likely to perceive it if you are particularly picky about cheesecake like me. In general I’d say go to this one for the view but any other restaurant in that chain is more or less the same.

Had dinner here on a Monday night with a friend. The venue is lovely and the view is spectacular, especially from upstairs. The service was good, it took them too long to take our orders though, so some people who arrived after us received their food right before us, which was quite uncomfortable. Nevertheless, the food arrived quite quickly after they took our orders. The wine(Pinot Grigio) was delightful and the pizza was really good. I would definitely recommend and probably go back again.

Poor service. Food did not arrive at the same time, and we actually had to request the last dish. My ceasar salad was not very tasteful, and came without one of the ingredients(bacon).

Well it has wonderful view that I think everybody agrees. I booked a window table for an early evening so I and my guests had chance to watch great Tower Bridge through the evening. When it comes to menu it’s okey. The service is really poor. We had to remind the menu several times to the waiter as he forgot to bring some orders each time. I cannot blame him. He was so busy but still trying to be polite. It is totally management’s mistake. 2 waiters for a busy night for first floor obviously not enough!!! I hope they take into consideration what I wrote otherwise this restaurant will lose its customers.

ok so the view kicks butt which is why this review gets three stars but OMG. the service!!! I cant handle bad service and i swear every single time i asked for something other than drinks, i got blank stares and not anything in return! So annoyed. I did get the pizza, which was OK, nothing special at all. my colleague got the beef ragu which was okay too. nothing super exciting. I honestly will not go back unless someone drags me there.

On a windy, cold, afternoon recently, the manager of the Strada saw us shivering outside, opened the door and invited us in for a hot coffee. Turned out the manager’s name was Pete, as we came to know in subsequent days as we kept returning for his warm welcome and the wonderful dishes that came out of this kitchen. Highly recommend a visit, especially for the Burrata appetizer(which is delicious) and the pasta dishes which were yummy too. Pete will surely be promoted in time. What a great host and what incredible service he gave us.

Strada offers gorgeous views of Tower Bridge and the city, especially at night. I can only speak to the antipasti platter and the wine, which were both pretty good. The antipasti included mozzarella, bruschetta, olive tapenade, and salami. The £18 «for two» dish wasn’t exactly filling for the price, but it was a nice snack. Given that my office is next door, I have a feeling I’ll be back soon.

A friend and I went to one of the film screenings at The Scoop and decided to get pizza to take with us. The only place we found nearby was Strada. I want sure they did take away but luckily they do! We were given a menu and then ordered. Sadly we couldn’t use a discount voucher for take away even though it was the same price as eating in. There is a good choice of pizzas and neither of us could choose just one to have so we bought two we both liked and shared them. After some time waiting, we saw two pizzas sat on the side in take away boxes. We waited a little longer then went up to look at them. It was our order. It wasn’t very busy so there wasn’t really any excuse for leaving them sat there getting cold. The pizzas were very nice. We had a goats cheese one and a spicy sausage one. They really were tasty but they were pretty soggy(maybe something to do with them being in a pizza box?) and oil was dripping off them. A little pricier than other good pizza places and too oily/soggy but tasty with a good choice and great location with view of Tower Bridge if you eat in.

5 stars for the location, we sat outside and over looked the bridge. The food was nice and price was good for location but there just was not enough food on the plate. I could of eaten 2 dishes of the main a and still be hungry. Good service though

Strada has a lovely view and worthy Italian food. With a nice, reliable set menu and reasonable prices Strada is a great choice. I am especially fond of a mid-week chicken cacciatora.

I’d give this restaurant 5 Stars for the location alone. Details: My family and I had dinner here on Saturday 8÷10÷13 which was our last night in the U.K. We had just taken a little stroll over the Tower Bridge and saw this restaurant nearby. It was early evening and we didn’t have a reservation so we ended up getting a table on the first floor. Had I known how amazing the view was from the second floor I would have asked them to seat us up there if possible. I did take a few photos of the view when I went upstairs to visit the Ladies Room. Food 4⁄5 Stars: This is a chain restaurant, but I really like their pizza. We ordered their margherita pizza and another one that I cannot recall right now and we really liked it. The crust was perfect. I would recommend asking for more basil, because they didn’t put much of that on it. The crust wasn’t burned around the edges or soggy. We liked their pizza so much we ordered it again at their restaurant at London Heathrow Airport the next day. Service 3⁄5 Stars: The service was good, but it could have been better. It seemed like we didn’t see our server at all after our order arrived and I think we had to wait a bit to pay our check. Atmosphere 4⁄5 Stars: We were seated on the first floor, but I would highly recommend that you make a reservation and get a table along the edge on the second floor so you can take advantage of the amazing view. Recommendation: If you are looking for a good pizza and lovely view I would recommend this restaurant. Take a nice stroll along The Queen’s Walk/Thames Path National Trail which goes from the London Bridge to the Tower Bridge before our after your meal if you have time.

Another meal with the parents and they insist on paying, well ok then I suppose… Of course knowing mum I had to present many options and her criteria this evening was ‘I want to walk by the river after.’ So I thought London bridge is close and there’s some good things here. We ended up in a Strada, a chain restaurant that claims to be better than you expect chains to be. Well it was! Me and Dad opted for seafood — I have risotto and he the linguine. Proper mussels an king prawns in here, the food was filled with chilli heat and packed with seafood. My risotto was perfectly cooked, not mushy like risotto is prone to going. Mum had the seabass, which flaked off the skin perfectly. We even are outside since it wasn’t too cold, how continental! Extra bonus for Mum since it is right by the river in Shad Thames and at night was lit up beautifully with the array of lights. Tower bridge at night is truly spectacular by the way. Service very nice and prompt. Toying with whether to give this 5 stars, I let dessert be the decider. Well, just seeing limoncello and amaretti biscuit trifle on the menu I was sold. SOMUCHALCOHOL(this is a very good thing for me!). Sweet and sickly, a perfect dessert. 5 stars it is! High praise indeed for a chain restaurant, location played a BIG part. Only criticism was I wan to eat that meal all over again!
