A great dinner restaurant for a family. Food was 3 big stars with good selection and nice taste and without being too pricy. The 4th star is for location right next to Tower Bridge and the friendly staff. We can recommend this place and will come back some day.

Just average Italian food. It was more of the atmosphere that made it enjoyable. The seafood linguine was slightly bland without much flavor.

Strada? More like Strop-da. Picture this. You saunter into a beautiful glass building with warm, art deco-ish interiors, sporting a glittering view of the Thames. You’re intoxicated with the Friday night bliss misting through the room, ready to kick-start the burial of a long, arduous week when… plop! You’re slapped into reality by the rather abrupt wait staff, half of which are rushing to get you out within a millisecond of your derrier becoming acquainted with your seat, the other half of which would have ignored you all evening if they could. I’m not some restaurant wanker who enjoys the power trip from signalling to get the waiters’ attention, but this was a touch ridiculous. The former-waitress in me wouldn’t permit me to knock their efficiency too harshly; it was a busy evening after all and our food did arrive pretty quickly, but going from taking a good 15 minutes to get served, to having to fight to get a word in edgeways to the waitress who was more interested in storming off to the kitchen before, I don’t know, taking EVERYONE’S order left me a touch daunted. Was it something I said? I didn’t enjoy having to call her back twice because she took my two friends’ coffee orders and walked away whilst I was in mid-sentence, plus having to ask for the bill three times because we apparently weren’t on her radar. I suspect she gave up on us half way through, because different waiters kept being sent to bring our food. I know I’m not exactly Jesus, and I don’t demand to be treated like the centre of the universe, but if you’re not interested, I don’t particularly want to be able to guess that from the get go. I also find it off-putting when restaurants play loud techno music. You’re a restaurant, not a rave. Act like it. Enough ranting: their Cotto pizza was tasty, their cherry cheesecake was alright(bit on the mealy side, but hey ho) and their espresso was smooth and went down a treat. Their loos had no paper, but were still clean and each cubicle had their own sink and hand dryer, so no overcrowding gaggle of girls. Not the worst evening I’ve ever had in my life, but I will be venturing elsewhere, maybe Zizzi’s…yes, I went there. Would recommend: Their antipasti sharing platter for two. I ate one to myself. I’m not even sorry.

We went to Strada as a Group on Tuesday night. The restaurant is in a really nice location near the river and with views from the top floor over the river, the Belfast and Tower Bridge. Service was good with our waitress having a cheerful smile and a fun attitude. What a shame about the food. It probably started a little poorly with most of the red wine being out of stock and a few of the main dishes. But anyway, starting with Bruschetta as a pallete cleansing opener was a mistake. The bread was stale and alternated between chewy and over-done. The rest of it was ok, but for what was chopped tomato and stale bread, not great. I followed this up with the Strozzapreti pugliese which was ok, but nothing special. Chilli butter seemed to consist of grated chilli and I’m not sure the cheese was anywhere to be seen. Pasta was well shaped and there was enough of it but it wasn’t great, chewy and a bit under seasoned. Nothing serious enough to send back to the kitchen, but nothing that enjoyable. Good view, good company and good service. Shame about the Tuesday night food.

I work on the More London estate and this is easily the worst restaurant in the area. The food is bland and portions small. There is often items off the menu and food takes ages to arrive. I have been here 3 times now and each time it was disappointing and over priced. I am now at the point where I have refused to go again and refuse to take any colleagues there. I have complained twice, once I got a call back, the other time nothing. very very poor.

This Strada gets 5 stars just for the location. With the exception of the Oxo Tower and perhaps one or two traditional riverside pubs, I don’t think you will find a riverside restaurant with a view this good. That the service and food are good(though standard Strada food) adds to the experience!

This restaurant is part of a chain. However, the food was very good and the dessert was fantastic. We ate early, so the service was quick and the place was quite. The noise really builts when the place fills up. Sit by the window so you can people watch.

I wasn’t expecting to give this branch five stars, but I can’t help it. The food and service would get four stars, but the view? That’s worth five stars itself. We were treated with smiles and banter, and late on Good Friday they had no problem seating us outside with one of the best views along the river. You’re moments from Tower Bridge, across the river from the Tower of London. It’s so beautiful. Unfortunately it’s still April, which means that come 10pm it gets cold and we were politely whisked inside, and the nice waiter ensured we had the best window seat so we still had the prettiest view. That was nice. Our order got a little lost with us moving, but they were super friendly so we didn’t mind waiting an extra ten minutes. The food in Strada won’t blow your mind. You pay a tenner for a pizza, and it’ll be tasty. I like that they give you free filtered water(without you having to ask for it) and if you’re lucky you’ll remember to pick up a 2−4−1 voucher. £25 for the best view in London? It’s hardly gourmet dining, but I don’t care.

I think this restaurant is definitely worth it for the view!!! Having a dinner in front of Tower Bridge illuminated is a must-do!!!The food is also quite nice, I personnally recommend the speck pizza and the chocolate fondant cake. Experience The Londonian Dolce Vita!!!

Never had such a bad dining experience at a restaurant before! The toilets were just disgusting! The ones in the lady’s room, didn’t even have a toilet seat. We had to wait for ages for our drinks. However, they were fast with our main course. A bit to fast if you ask me, we wern’t even half way through our starter! The food tasted like it just came out of the microwave! This has probably been the most expensive microwave meal I have ever had. The only thing good about this restaurant is its location and a few friendly waitresses(not all of them are). So take my advice, and do not go there!

This is my favourite branch of Strada as well. I find the food in Strada to generally be of good quality and taste no matter what I order, but this one is special mainly because of the design and of the views. Surrounded by huge glass windows, this restaurant is right on the water by Tower Bridge, giving breathtaking views, especially on a clear night. Although it is only a chain, the setting of the restaurant makes me think it should be a fancy Manhattan steak house, although to be honest, many Manhattan steak houses don’t look nearly as nice as this place! So if you start your dinner with a glass of champagne(or prosecco if you’re budgeting) and have some lovely tomato and pesto bread followed by a delicious pasta dish as I usually do can feel very glamorous in this gorgeous place.

This is my favourite branch of Strada. Not only is the food delicious and service good, but the views of Tower Bridge are unreal. The best time to go is at night when it is clear as the bridge is lit up and really looks rather spectacular. I have also been in summer and sat outside which was great. Afterwards, you can wander down next to the river and even sit on the grassy area overlooking the river and bridge. But back to the food… As always with Strada, everything on the menu is generally good. I often go with one of their pizza’s, with buffaloz mozzarella and fresh baby tomatoes and basil– can’t be beaten in my mind! I have also had a chicken schnitzel dish with fresh vegetables which was delicious. All washed down with Peroni and a beautiful view of Tower Bridge– what more could you ask for?

This is near our office at London Bridge and has amazing views along the river, it is a great location. We like it anyway, but when they had to move us to accomodate a big group they gave us a bottle of sparkling wine because but we didn’t even mind moving anyway. The food is quite quick and always of a good standard, lovely pizzas…
