Ordered takeaway over the phone and my order was ready as promised when I arrived. Solid portion — I had the tikka masala and garlic naan. I think the tikka masala was the best I’ve had. If I’m in the area again It’ll be on my short list for any takeaway.

We ordered chicken tikka masala and chicken korma, which were both delicious. Service was quick and welcoming, and the entire restaurant felt clean. The food is incredible!

Good food and a nice vibe on a cool little side street.

Very good food, a comfortable atmosphere, and a good-natured staff. It’s one of these restaurants where you feel at home. It was my first taste of ‘chicken balti’: wow!

Knowing I had to try Indian food when in London, Spice of India came up and was just across the street from my hotel! After being told of two other places to try, I decided to stick with this place. Great choice! Highly recommend the chicken tikka masala. And their naan is the bomb dot com!

Great food, decent price! Everything we ordered was delicious! Chicken Tikki Masala, lamb dish(I can’t remember the name), veggie sides, and yummy garlic naan! A nice surprise close by our hotel.

I live pretty much right above this restaurant and didn’t give it a shot because it just didn’t look too appealing to me. Its small and never super busy and frankly I don’t love Indian food so I do tend to judge a book by it’s cover. I was wrong about this place, and was proved wrong by my boyfriend who gets it for takeaway every few weeks. The takeaway is always ready in 20 – 30 minutes and it’s always hot and fresh. probably cuz I live upstairs but hey, just my opinion! The naan is fantastic, especially dipped in the chicken tikka sauce :) Maybe wouldn’t keep going back if it wasn’t in my neighborhood, but compared to Noorjahn which is also in my neighborhood, Spice of India is my first choice because it’s easy, and definitely from a value perspective.

Good food, good value, good for kids. This was my 3rd time in 3 years eating there and I always enjoy it. Tables are a bit cramped

This place gets busy on Friday night, they turned away lots of people. It is small and very authentic. Service is attentive and honest. I said I had only 45 minutes and the waiter expedited my order. Service was a little slower around me. Food was good to very good but not outstanding, but prices were reasonable. Will come back. 40 mins from order to After Eight,(short) review included. Promise kept.
