A surprisingly good bit of fish and chips! Although, place isn’t really a traditional hundred percent dedicated fish bar. It is an example of the typical hybrid of takeaway that is now prevalent within London. It serves burgers, kebabs, sausages et cetera as well as the aforementioned fish and chips. I had the old faithful cod and small chips here and I must say I was impressed for the pricetag. The cod was chunky, moist and full of flavour. The batter was decent enough but I have had better. The chips were fairly average, but at least they were not the heavily processed french fry type. As I was just walking through this part of town and needed a bite, I took a seat at the bar and ate there. The staff were really friendly and were more than happy to offer me a plethora of sources to eat with my meal. While I sat and ate, there was a clear testament to the popularity and reasonable prices here — the steady stream of customers!
