Sara Stationers

This small stationer is full of charm. Up front I will say it is not as cheap as Ryman which is just down the road, but Sara Stationer is a family owned business not part of a massive corporation. And in Unilocaling we must stand by these smaller business as much as possible.
They have all your go back to school/​uni essentials and also a good selection of Art supplies. Not as much as your regular Art Supply store, but you will find ‘Art Bins’ at very reasonable prices depending on the size. If you are lucky you might deal with the owners daughter or the owner herself. They will go out of their way to make sure you get what you want. I was looking for a rapidograph ans she went to back and came back with more options than I had anticipated. Customer satisfaction guaranteed, something that cannot be said for the larger chains around.

I always try to steer away from any generic, chain-​store form of ANYTHING. So Sara Stationers was a welcome change for me! It’s family run, and, whilst smaller than the Ryman’s down the road, still boasts a semi-​decent range of all things paper, pen, or crayon related! I’m not convinced that the range is as good as some of it’s chain-​store counterparts, but at least go and check it out before you head to Corporation-​Central!
