well, lucky if you a) find your way in(through the shop next door) and b) are let in bit of a disappointment to have come all the way just to be sent away. Is this really a gallery, or rather a souped up night club with nothing much to offer during the day?

Nice popup gallery space for events. When I went, there was an exhibition for i-D magazine, which was very neat, and in the basement there was a Kid Koala«Music to Draw to» evening — everything was great, although I wish there were more chairs to sit on(sitting on concrete is a tad uncomfortable!) Grungy in that East London kind of way.

This place has been open since last summer and I’ve been a few times over the months. Everytime I go it does seem to look a bit more ‘done up’ which is a good thing really as the first time I went it was damp, dark and still felt like an abandoned underground factory(in a bad way not a cool way!) When I went a couple of weeks ago, however, it seems like they have really spent some time making it ‘party friendly’ and the night that I went to was amazing. They have installed an incredible, earth-shattering soundsystem — an absolute must for any self-respecting warehouse venue — and have opened up the first floor so there is now another dance area and also somewhere to chill out on sofas if it all gets a bit much.
