Out of all the sandwich shops in London. Pret for me has to be the best. Fresh ingredients, tasty selections and such a great variety … Whether it’s a slice of paradise you’re looking for or that yogurty creamy sensations Pret has it! I’m a fan … You will be too! They even have bloody sushi guys!!!

Pret saved me when I was wandering around London. They have delicious, healthy food for take out! Like a Panera if everything was hot and ready to go.

Fantastic stop for starving tourists looking to maximize their travel budgets. Saved the day for us and we enjoyed it. They are all over which is a great comfort, knowing we had easy access to good, inexpensive, healthy food.

Loved this place! We came to visit London for a week and saw this place everywhere! Perfect for trying to stay healthy while on holiday. It has a delicious range of healthy food including salads, sandwiches, sushi, fruit and other assorted items. Their hot drinks were perfect for the cold winter days and they even have hot soups and pastas to go. It’s fairly affordable and was our «go to» place whenever we were hungry. I would highly recommend this franchise to anyone in London. I’m only sad that it doesn’t yet exist here in New Zealand :(

I really like Pret, I do, but for a place that obviously tries to cater to diets like gluten and dairy free they should try a bit harder to provide a few more options. A fee months ago they brought out gluten free wraps. I saw them once and only one flavor. Being allergic to onion as well there isn’t a lot I can eat out of their salad selection either so I usually end up getting a free range egg and spinach pot. those things are lifesavers. They have recently bought out almond milk drinks — date and cacao and cashew and banana. I was very excited. and then I tasted them. They do not taste good. … ugh they’re so close but not quite there, so frustrating. .Let me help Pret! Let me help you get this thing right! Start with labelling items that are gluten free, dairy free etc like you label the vegetarian options. With no ingredients list on the packaging we have no way if knowing the food is safe. I really love Pret and they have so much potential.. just not quite yet.

Fresh sandwiches and fruit — I didn’t plan on being healthy while in vacation but sign me up! I also love the trafalgar square location

I’m not sure which Pret I went into because they are literally in every street corner in London (I think it was this location, though not 100% sure), but it doesn’t matter. I love every Pret. I had a wonderful bean soup and brownie as a quick lunch. No mess, no fuss. Cheap by London standards. This place is like a Starbucks back home, except better (and specializing in sandwiches rather than coffee). They have cute messages in their napkins and products (very much like Chipotle).
Pret also has a location in Heathrow. Bought myself a carrot cake for my almost nine hour flight home.
I’m waiting for them to come to Miami.

Pret A Manger IS AWESOMEEEE! My dad and I were staying at a hotel down the street, and were looking for a cheap, easy place to go to for breakfast during our 5-​day stay in London. There were a ton of bakeries and cafes along Piccadilly Circus, but we decided to go to Pret A Manger since it looked pretty good. This was one of the best discoveries we found whilst in London! SO good that we went back EVERY single morning for breakfast while we were there!
My dad and I had never heard of Pret A Manger before. It’s pretty similar to Starbucks, except the selection of food is WAY BETTER! They had coolers and shelves all along one entire wall with different bottled juices, waters, beverages, pastries, sandwiches, soups, etc. Perfect for anybody who is on the go and wants a fresh, portable meal! We noticed a LOT of people stopped by Pret on their way to work, as many people were in business attire and looked like they wanted to get in and out as soon as possible. The Pret employees cater to their customers by working FAST! They all look like busy little worker ants trying to get everything done as quickly as possible which was great.
The first time I went I ordered the piña colada smoothie which was unfortunately a major bust. Not good at all… blech. However, I started ordering the hot chocolate which was deeelicious. Better than the hot chocolate normally served at coffee shops in the US. My biggest and best discovery from Pret A Manager was their CHOCOLATE CROISSANTS! They are SO. GOOD. I normally don’t like croissants in general, but there was something that I just LOVED about Pret’s! I also got my dad hooked on them and he started ordering them everyday too! :P My dad’s favorite item from Pret A Manger was their ham, cheese and tomato pastry. They were made fresh every morning and he LOVED them.
This location was the first Pret A Manger we ever saw while in London, but we soon realized that it is a VERY popular chain in England, and saw them on almost every street corner. Even more popular than Starbucks which is saying something!
If Pret existed in the US, my dad and I would probably be regulars. Amazing coffee shop with really good food! I highly recommend for anyone who wants a quick, easy, and cheap breakfast/​brunch! :)

They are good. They are cheap and they are everywhere.
Sad but one of the best things I had in London food wise was Pret’s Pasta Salad.

I love Pret! It’s everywhere in London I wish we had some in California. I did see some when I visited Canada. But it’s so cute and convenient and their food is always fresh. I had a seasonal turkey and cranberry sandwich while my friend had the duck wrap. My sandwich was really good and I would get it again if I have the chance. Overall Pret has some pretty health and good food when you’re on the go and have to grab something quick!

Pret a Manager is everywhere in London! It is a very affordable and a good way to eat cheaply and the food is very good for what you pay. Keep in mind that prices are more expensive if you eat in. So grab it to go and head to St James, Kensington, or Hyde Park and enjoy.
I personally recommend the duck and hoisson wrap and the Salmon and edamae cup… wonderful.

Loved this place! They had fresh, organic and very delicious food. Was a very good on-​the-​go type place. I had their sausage breakfast sandwich which was very yum! Also the tuna sandwich was very good also for lunch.

Als ich vor 25 Jahren (auweiha!) in London Austauschschülerin war, konnte man da nur verhungern, das englische Essen war abartig und es gab nur fiese Burgerketten und olle Fish&Chips-Buden. Jetzt war ich über Ostern wieder dort und war völlig geflasht. Großartige Restaurants und Cafés in jedem Preissegment, also für Londoner Verhältnisse, d.h. immer einen guten Tacken teuer als in Berlin Sehr begeistert hat mich die Fastfood-​Kette Prêt a manger, die man sich vorstellen kann wie einen Coffeshop mit sehr erweitertem Angebot. Sie haben Suppen, Salate, Sandwiches, Baguettes, Sushis, Kuchen usw und alles ist ganz frisch und einem sehr guten Niveau, Zutaten wie Zubereitung. Mein typisches Mittagessen dort: ein Avokado-​Ruccola-​Wrap, ein Obstalat, eine Minitüte Chips, ein Mini-​Cheesecake (groß wie ein Petit Four) und ein Cappucchino. Alles großartig. Zu schade, dass es die hier nicht gibt, dieses Essen macht glücklich!

Unbedingt zu empfehlen !!! Obwohl es sich hier um eine große Kette handelt, ist das Essen wirklich toll. Es gibt Wraps, Sandwiches, Müslis frischen Joghurt und Obst, frische Säfte, Baguettesalles zum Mitnehmenimmer in toller Qualitättollen Geschmacksrichtungen und immer frisch. Die Preise sind mehr als angemessenallles, was am Tagesende nicht verkauft wird, wird an Obdachlose oder an die Tafeln gespendet !!!

Tried their new hot piping wraps, but was quite disappointed. I think I prefer EAT to Pret nowadays, with the pies, oats and cupcakes, it’s my preferred London eatery.

Pret is fantastic option for breakfast and lunch, always very fresh and delicious. I recently stayed in Mayfair and this was my closest Pret, easy walking distance to Green Park and the hotel that I was staying in.
Nothing beats the fresh muesli and the chicken & avocado sandwich and mango smoothie.
I wish Pret was a bit closer to me here in Australia!

Our favorite spot to eat for a quick, reasonably priced meal. It’s also conveniently located near our hotel (The Park Lane) so we’ve been stopping here for breakfast the last few mornings. We love their croissants and porridge (with sliced banana!) and spend no more than 10 pounds for the two of us. Sometimes we’ll buy a couple of their packaged sandwiches (3 – 4 pounds each) for lunch later. They also have desserts like chocolate mousse, banana cake, lemon cake, etc. These are around 2 – 3 pounds.
All in all, a great variety at great prices! And… they’re everywhere!
Also, very clean bathrooms located downstairs.

Anfangs bin ich am Pret immer vorbeigangen, um Subway zu finden. Bis mir nichts anderes übrig blieb — und jetzt bin ich süchtig! Sobald ich englischen Boden betrete, muss ich in einen Pret-​Laden. Das Rezeptbuch steht bei mir in der Küche griffbereit.
Die Zubereitung sieht frisch und knackig aus, die Salate und Sandwiches schmecken himmlisch. Man hat das Gefühl, sich selbst etwas Gutes zu tun, wenn es schnell gehen muss. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Sie werden bisher nicht nach Deutschland kommen.

Pret is so convenient, I wish we had something a little closer to it in the US. Everything is consistent in quality, even between locations. Prices are reasonable, I do with the egg sale was a little tastier, but overall everything is great.

Enseigne présente à quasiment tous les coins de rue dans le centre ville et qui est très pratique. Les sandwich y sont vraiment bons, les vendeurs sont très aimables mais le prix est un petit peu élevé et la taille des sandwichs n’est pas énorme.
Par contre, large choix de desserts et de fruits, c’est assez sympa.

Super Sache! Sandwiches hier sind auf jeden Fall frisch und garantiert ohne geschmacksverstärker oder sonstige Zusatzstoffe! Alle Daumen hoch!!!

Pret, has some of the best sandwiches out of all the chain sandwich shops. This is because they use decent and high quality food in their sandwiches and are made on premises, meaning they are fresh.
They also do good soup and coffee to go with your sandwich.
Though Pret can be a bit of the dear side in terms of pricing, it is pretty much worth it, as you know you are getting quality.

Das ist eine klassische Sandwich Kette. Die findet man überall in London und ist mittlerweile sehr beliebt. Die bieten ganz viele verschiedene Sandwiches. Mit Fleisch, ohne Fleisch, chilli und viele mehr. Die bieten die klassische Englische Dreieck Sandwiches die sehr praktisch zum essen sind. Die haben viele Kunden, dass heißt alles ist sehr frisch und lecker. Es schmeckt super, ich mag es.
Das einzige negative ist, dass die etwas teurer als andere Dreieck Sandwiches sind.

die pret-​kette hat sich in london in kürzester zeit wie eine im positiven sinne wirkende landplage ausgebreitet.
einfach gesagt: hier gibt es starbucks plus x, aber in bio.
guten kaffee, tolle sandwiches, leckeren kuchen, es ist ein sehr großes sortiment und es ist in meinen augen ganz schön teuer (wie für die ganzen coffee shops üblich).
aber man sieht an diesem konzept, dass man in london in einigen punkten bei der bio-​welle schon ein bisschen weiter ist als bei uns.
ich bin mir sicher, diese läden würden auch bei uns laufen, allerdings will pret nicht per franchising wachsen, sonst wäre ich längst schon an bord :-)
fazit: auf jeden fall ausprobieren, die läden haben suchtcharakter

Pret a Manger ist eine Kette, die es in London so ziemlich an jeder Ecke gibt. Man findet eine sehr übersichtliche große Kühltheke mit frischen Sandwichs, Baguettes, Obst, Salaten, Joghurts und Getränken sowie kleinen Müsliriegeln, Kaffee etc., die man sich selbst aus dem Regal nimmt und dann an der Kasse zahlt.
Pret a Manger garantiert eine einwandfreie Qualität ihrer Ware, das heißt stündlich frisch, aus Freilandhaltung, ohne Zusatz– und Konservierungsstoffe. Hier kommt nichts in die Kühltheke, was am Vortag nicht verkauft wurde. Diese Sachen werden geradewegs an eine Stiftung für Bedürftige weitergegeben.
Die Sandwiches etc. schmecken sehr frisch und lecker und gibt es in unzählichen Variationen. Die Desserts sind einfach wahnsinnig lecker! Alles in Ganzen kann man sich hier einen gesunden Snack holen, der mir allemal mehr bringt und gesünder ist als McDonalds und vom Preis her auch erschwinglich ist. Für ein Getränk, Sandwich und Obst zahlt man so um die 5 Pfund. Es kommt natürlich darauf an, was man wählt. Die To Go-​Preise sind immer etwas günstiger als wenn man seine Sachen direkt vor Ort isst. Die Locations sind unterschiedlich, aber meist ganz nett und gemütlich gestaltet.
Sollte man auf jeden Fall mal testen

Impossible de né pas remarquer cette enseigne que l’on trouve à chaque coins de rue!
Sandwichs frais du jour, soupes maison qui changent quotidiennement, buritos, salades, sushis, jus de fruits frais,… ON TROUVE TOUT CE QU’ON AIME.
Les prix sont abordables (environ quatre pounds le sandwich) et le service de qualité, ce n’est pas compliqué tout le monde souris!!!

Although much copied, I still think Pret a Manger are leaders in what they do: a highly consistent chain of sandwich shops, selling generously-​filled sandwiches with high quality, fresh and natural ingredients. (All sandwiches are made on the premises, fresh each day).
There are good choices for vegetarians (I especially like their vegetable crisps, made from root vegetables others than spuds). They’re a bit pricier than some other chains, but worth it in my view.
This branch in Piccadilly is useful to know as it’s not too rushed at lunchtimes, and is open seven days a week.
