I read recently that Caffe Nero was founded in 1997, have 360 branches throughout the country and are currently the leading independent coffee retailer. I for one can endorse the leading bit, I have used different Nero’s branches throughout the country and I feel like it has been most of those ten years plus that they have been in business. Why? You may ask. Well I’m choosey about where I buy my coffee in that I like some flavour and strength delivered in my mid– morning cup of java! Not many coffee outlets, even the specialists among them, actually do a good cup of coffee or are capable of doing so across all there branches!
Neros do and do so consistently thus I return time and time again. This particular Nero’s shop located as it is on the corner has the added benefit of an area for table outside and its nice to just sit and watch the world go by.
