Some of the tastiest falafel I’ve ever had, with a unique blend of spices based on za’atar. A lot of different salads to accompany the pita(or platter) and the stuff them to the brim! You can also add some guac or feta to give it a creamy finish or some chili sauce for that spicy kick. My only qualm is that it is also the most stressful lunch spot I’ve been to London, hands down. I realize that it’s a business that has to earn all of its revenue from the lunch rush and has to get people in and out as quickly as possible, but I count the minutes until I can get out of the cramped, tiny space after yelling my order across the glass so the staff can hear me and squeezing through other customers to get to the payment terminals. If they could figure out a way to make the ordering less stressful, this would be a 5-star for sure!

Some of the best falafel I’ve had and I have had more than most ;-) they also do a small box of 5 or so falafel for £2 which is a ridiculously good value snack

What an ambitious lunch! It was truly too large to be eaten in one go, which is an amazing thing to find for such a good price, in the Spitalfields area. I had stopped in here with a coworker for lunch, and they variety of options that were on the menu really caught my eye. There is a wide selection of ways to mix your falafel with other ingredients, different levels of spiciness, and sizes. Basically, you can have it any way you like, and it’s almost all for around £6. The food itself is flavorful, and really filling. I had a normal size, normal falafel, and only ate about half before I was full. I enjoyed all of the fresh veggies and dressings that came along with it as well. Service was really good for a walk up stand… I didn’t feel too rushed, and liked that there was a section of the menu just for beginners/first timers.

Great, quick, cheap place for lunch, 4 pounds is the cheapest you’re going to get in London especially in the City. The people are nice, even though it’s crazy busy, they serve you free samples while you wait, they’re always smiling, it’s a small thing, but it’s nice. In the craziness of the 3 queues smashed into one little restaurant, I had no time to be discerning so I just asked for a falafel with everything on it which includes but is not limited to chickpea salad, cucumber salad, shredded carrots, purple cabbage, pepperocinis, hot sauce, mysterious delicious white sauce and delicious crispy, freshly fried falafel. Yum. I have also tried the hummus and falafel bowl which I added aubergine(read egg plant) to. And then I got all of the above stuff on top of that too, with a piece of pita bread on the side. Don’t forget to bring cash!
