I wish i could give a zero star if possible. Good location of course, we ordered beers and fish and chips. Beer came out right away, but gosh for the fish and chips took them almost 45 mins to bring dish out to the table. Did they caught the fish out of the river? And servers doesn’t know what they are doing. I asked three different server, if order went through well or not but never came back to me to give me answer. Plus, They dont even bring dish out by order. Other table ordered fish and chips who got there a lot later, but got it faster then us. After 40 mins waiting without any explanation for damn fish and chips, i asked one of the server who brought the dish right next to our table, «is our fish and chips coming too?» And she goes«I KNOW» Wtf!!! Did i ask something not supposed to ask!!! What a rude service. I wish i could not include Tip but freaking my money is automatically charged on the bill. Rude rude rude. I dont want to recommend to anyone who is traveling london, after long long walk just wanted to get damn fish and chips. Go get somewhere. Plus chips are not even good. I am not the one who leave the review normally, but if you are traveling pls avoid this place unless if you want to ruin your lovely day.

Maybe 2.5 stars I came here after walking the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge. The place is nice enough with a killer view of course. Ordered the fish and chips hoping that they would be better than all the mediocre ones I’ve had in London this far. They were quite good, fish was flaky and both the chips and the fish were crispy. Took some stars out because while the fish was nice it was a bit oily and the service was quite lackluster. Waiter never checked on me once I got the food. I wanted more wine but he never came back.

The food was okay, a little small on the proportions but the service was excellent! The manager and wait staff were very friendly, accommodating and genuinely enjoyed having us there. We had a 16 month old in our party and the bar tender and manager would try to play with him and they really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Our food arrived late and so the manager came out and gave the whole table champagne and the fresh orange juice for the kids, apologized and explained why the food was late. Would recommend to anyone with kids!

We were there in early May. Wonderful, wonderful little café right next to the Tower of London. We had a hearty lunch, very decent wine and beer. We liked it so much, we came back for dinner. A big shout out to Giles, who was very attentive and just great. Treat yourself to a lovely lunch or dinner at Perkin Reveller.

Over all, this was a lovely lunch in a bright café just steps from the Tower of London. The chocolate and salted caramel tart made the whole meal. Wow. Parsnip soup was flavorful. Shepherd’s pie was warm and tasty. The risotto was too salty.

An hour here and we have only gotten two tiny salads. Restaurant is half empty and yet it seems impossible to make timely food. Avoid.

After spending a lovely day wandering around the Tower of London, we naturally required some well earned sustenance. Our plan was to walk over to St Katherine’s Dock via the rear exit of the Tower and stumbled across the Perkin Reveller, our tired and weary feet, legs took over and guided us into this restaurant. We were greeted with warm and welcoming smile from the Maitre d, who showed us to a table giving us a pleasant view of Both the Tower and Tower Bridge. Being lunch time, they had set menus, either two or three courses, we opted for the former and started with the leak and white bean, bacon and English mustard soup, followed by the traditional cod, chips and crushed peas. All this washed down with a bottle of War Horse Chenin Blanc 2013 and a Cabernet Sauvignon Cabaletta Tenute Fiorebell 2011. We found, the service to be attentive, without being intrusive. We will bookmark this restaurant for the next time we are in London.

Vraiment pas mal pour un restaurant d’un lieu hyper touristique et étonnamment pas plus cher qu’en ville. dalle large et plutôt calme, nourriture bonne.

This is a really cool hang out spot. After walking around the Tower Bridge and/or Tower of London, this place will give you the extra boost for your next adventure. It’s a restaurant. It’s a bar and it’s a café all in one. They have plenty of outdoor seating including some nice lounge chairs where you can enjoy some of the coffee, champagne or several of their beers and ales. And the scenery from the patio is nice, with views of the Thames river and the Tower Bridge. And of course, plenty of people just walking by too.

Modern café with convenient location just outside the grounds of the Tower of London. The dishes were classic British fare, but tasty and served with a bit of style. The staff were quite friendly and the setting was bright even on a foggy London afternoon. Would definitely recommend the table beer — a light foamy concoction that’s perfect for a midday drink.

Came here with a group & must admit it is a good space for groups due to the way they arrange their tables. Food was average. I was not impressed by their lack of vegetarian options. They only had a pumpkin risotto and when I asked if they had any other options the staff tried to convince me that cod was vegetarian. Fish is not vegetarian– that is pescatarian! It is important to know these facts as can be offensive to your customers. View is impressive but did not find the food choices very exciting. I may return if they add more vegetarian options.

I went here twice as the hotel I stayed at was close by. The first time I went it was lovely. I ordered the fish & chips. The waitress was attentive, had a smile on her face. She brought my food quickly and graciously. The fish was excellent, flaky and very tasty. The chips were yummy. I enjoyed my meal very much which is why I was surprised a few days later. Now the second time I went was for a refreshing drink and a quick bite for my friends and myself. The gentleman who took our orders seemed quite irritated that he had to wait on us. Not sure why, we ordered straight from the menu. He brought our beverages and although mine were fine, my friends were just off what they had ordered. There was supposed to be lime juice and he brought limes. Not the same thing. He also left before we were done. Maybe he was ending his shift, I don’t know but he left a bad taste in my mouth. Perhaps they were changing from lunch to dinner, but this should not take away from the service. Others came in after us as well. So I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. Will I go here again? Not by my choice.

Came here with some out of town guests who had been recommended to Perkin Reveller. I’m not sure if I only had one dinner in London, that this would be the place, but it’s perfectly fine for a nice sit-down dinner. Everything was above average, nothing was mind-blowing. The view of Tower Bridge is impressive, especially at night. I had the blue cheese soufflé as a starter and the crab as a main. The chocolate and salted caramel mousse was nicer than I expected, but low on salted caramel. Price was about £30pp for starters, mains and shared desserts. If you’re in the area for the sights, this is a good one to know. Wouldn’t make the effort to cross town for it, though.

I have had this on my list of bookmarks for a while, so it was fortuitous that we felt like a coffee while in the area. The location is probably its best feature: literally right next to the Tower of London. We scored a seat outside in the sun. We had a fish and chips to share, a couple of coffees and a sparkling water. The fish was disappointingly flaky but the chips were nice. We had a black Americano each, which were fine but £3.50 is expensive for a black coffee. We enjoyed good service at the start, but it was difficult to get anyone’s attention at the end. The total bill was around £25, which feels expensive. But then again, this is right in the heart of one of London’s main tourist areas, so the prices are what you may expect with this in mind.

Stopped in for quick dinner after touring the Tower and Tower Bridge. Great location, food, and service. British fare with a local flare. Will plan to revisit the next time I’m back in London.

It was my last night in London and I was staying at the Premier Inn on Tower Bridge Road, so I decided to take one last walk over and around the Tower Bridge. I stumbled upon a nice restaurant, Perkin Reveller. The candles lite up the restaurant and it was so inviting I decided to give it a try. I was greeted warmly and taken to a small table. I asked to be seated at one of the tables by the window to look out and have a view of the bridge, and it was no problem at all. I ordered a glass of wine and was brought some bread and butter to start. The staff was very friendly and the food was amazing and so fresh! I got the salmon with pork belly and parsnips and a side mixed green salad that was heavenly! I passed on seeing the dessert menu, but I’m kind of kicking myself now and wish I had. I definitely recommend this restaurant. It was a perfect way to end my time in London!

Going to the Tower of London? Seeing Tower Bridge? This is the perfect café to stop before/after visiting the sites, especially on a cold day when you need a hot drink. I’ve only been for cakes, cocktails and tea, but if the cakes are any indication, I’m sure the food is delicious too. There’s a back bar area that’s nice and toasty warm if you need a break from a walk on the Thames. They serve a variety of delicious teas and wines and it’s never super full of tourists, which is a pleasant surprise in this neighborhood.
