Number Sixteen Hotel

We have been coming here for years and it just keeps getting better. It feels like home when we are here. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room always feels special and cozy. The breakfast is excellent. Can’t wait to come back!

Just don’t waste your money.
Yes, I’m angry right now as I just got a phone call at 12:30 am to «quiet down» for flushing my toilet and running my water, (I’m alone), but the entire experience has been pure condescension from the staff. How they get away with charging what they do is a mystery.
«Boutique?» Yes.
Nice? No.
Not unless you like being made to feel like a lesser person.
Also, I hope you’re not over 140 pounds (US weight) because you can’t actually open the shower door all the way.
Stay here if you love living in a closet and being embarrassed.
I’m commercial hotelling it next time. I don’t need a cult, thanks. And enjoy your tea, all! It seems you tea Unilocalers did not stay the night. Whole ‘nuther world.

Cool small boutique hotel with friendly staff. Been several times for the afternoon tea, the tea is quite traditional but not at the price you see in other London venues. If the weather is warm, you can sit outside on the patio which is very pleasant. The great thing about this hotel was the ability to share a tea between two, usually we have our own tea but on this occassion we wanted less food and they had no problem to serve us one tea with extra pot of tea. Note, the tea service tends be quieter than other venues but quite frankly between the venue, the food and the service, i think it is worth going to on a sunny day.

Fantastic hotel! Can’t beat the location (very close to the South Kensington tube station) with lots of restaurants nearby… and museums and Hyde Park. The staff was wonderfully attentive and addressed every question and request promptly. They helped with some restaurant reservations before we arrived. Our room was lovely and quite comfortable — very roomy, especially for a city hotel. The breakfast room is a delight. You can also eat in the garden but it was a little too cool for us. There are two lounges for guests which made for a restful respite at the end of the day… and a good spot for a cup of tea. The wifi is a bit flakey… I do hope they figure that out… but will definitely stay here again.

Not even worth one star. Worst hotel experience of my life. I was given the smallest room in the hotel, think janitor cleaning closet style for gbp 200.
Daylight robbery

Delightful boutique hotel. Very conveniently located yet quiet. Tastefully decorated. Friendly staff. Great garden. Only minus: rooms are a bit small. But then this is London.
