This small café is easy to miss walking past ot but definitely worth a visit!
They serve freshly made food, from salads and sandwiches over paninis and soups to many breakfast options. They make each sandwich and panini freshly for you while you wait!
I had a full English breakfast and everything was perfectly cooked and a very good portion for the price, especially compared to usual Kensington pricing.
The staff seem to be an extended family or good friends and definitely enjoy what they are doing. Considering the busy area it’s in, they provide a comfortable atmosphere with a traditional vibe. I highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area looking for outstanding café type food.

Nicht die Auslage (=Demo) bekommt man hier, sondern ein frisch zubereitetes Exemplar. Sehr lecker war’s!

La brioche serves up great panninis that have good flavour. Their brie and bacon is lovely. They also do some tasty homemade soups. You can get them to take-​away or sit in and weather permitting you can take a seat outside in the pleasant South Kensington although the shop is quite close to the road. It’s a perfect place to stop off for a quick bite or to grab something on the go. The prices are reasonable and the staff always seem to be in good spirits. There are a lot of these kinds of places in the area so they do have good competition like Paul’s just around the corner but it’s always nice to support the independent shops.
