So this was different. Clearly a ‘in place’ for those in the know but it felt a bit like one should go rather than wanting to go. I however really liked the vibe. Stylish yet not pretentious. It was busy however and standing room only. Of course we didn’t book so that would be my tip. However my London lad is a secret weapon and with a bat of the lashes we were seated at kitchen bar. Watching the Chefs work their magic. This place did have fizz and we absolutely made the most of it and it was quite delicious. We decided to a mix a platter of a whole range of picky starters for a share grab type meal. The food was fresh and tasty. It was cooked in front of us and smelt divine. The staff were attentive and friendly. Genuinely happy in fact and eager to please. The food came in good time and was a pleasurable delight We then went upstairs(which was rammed and I mean sardine rammed) for cocktails. Needless to say after taking an eternity to get served and having an OK ish martini we headed of for a boogie. I will definitely go again but I would book and get a nice table to make a base and just eat and drink and roll home. X

For once I understand the phrase«I’m too hungry to eat here». Despite a beautiful venue with roof terrace in Clapham’s Old Town, service took over an hour for 6 people and the food arrived intermittently and tepid. It’s much vaunted brunch didn’t exist as promised(breakfast stopped at 11.30) replaced instead by bruschetta with salad and bacon ‘shavings’. Tasty but cold and small in portion, and crucially, NOT brunch! Unfortunately I was so frustrated and hungry by the time it arrived that I wolfed it down forgetting to take a photo. To their credit they knocked the second round of drinks off the bill and accepted with good grace our refusal to pay the £15 service charge. Given the amount of competition they have around there, this was a major fail.

Came here to have a birthday celebration and left feeling empty and used. Will definitely never come here again.

It pains me to write this, i want to love 32 but they just get it wrong every time I go. So today’s visit was brought about by the want for roast meat. Yum. Upon ordering our food we asked how long it would be, any more than 5 minutes and starters would be needed. Waiter confidently claimed no more than 5 minutes. Roll on 20 minutes, my mussels arrive but no sign of my friends roast. Another 10 and here’s the roast chicken. Now 32 certainly isn’t a cheap option for a Sunday and at £15 you’re hoping for a reasonable portion, so when her plate arrives with less a thighs worth of chicken and no sign of the roast garlic or gremolata it’s poor. We send that back and it takes 20 minutes for it to reappear resolved. The mussels, overcooked, gritty and in a sauce lacking punch. If you’re going to do a Asian flavoured sauce, go big or go home. It was bland and disappointing. The chicken on reappearance was better. Note chef, grating lemon zest on top is not gremolata! I’ve tried to like this place but they just fail every time. My recommendation, avoid and go somewhere else!

This was the worst service I’ve ever received, hands down. We waited 2 hours between arriving and actually getting our food, and had to fight every step of the way — for a table, for menus, for service. Staff were uniformly rude and made us feel as though we were being unreasonable asking for food from a restaurant. What was bizarre is that even though there were loads of empty tables around us, the manager claimed the kitchen was too busy to take our food order. When our meal did finally arrive, it was perfectly fine — but not worth the fight to get it. After complaining quite forcefully, they said we didn’t have to pay — but even then they were grumpy and rude about it. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Went for brunch here and it was very busy, as expected. Service was friendly but not the fastest. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was really nice and the food was delicious. I had the poached eggs and avocado, can’t really go wrong there, and my girlfriend had pancakes. They we american style and super fluffy, accompanied with maple syrup, vanilla cream and blueberries. It’s not cheap but it’s also not disproportionately expensive for what you get and the quality of restaurant. Recommend for brunch! In addition, it also has a lively nightlife and does some really nice cocktails.

Since my first review I have come back here twice and I really like it. After the initial teething problems of the first week the service and food here is fantastic. I have been for dinner again and can I just say the beef cheek is sublime! I’ve also been for breakfast and can heartily recommend the pancakes, which are not like any pancakes I’ve had before — thick like American style but light and fluffy like a delicious sweet breakfast cake nom nom nom! I am going to keep going back here and I think you should give it a go too!

Been going to this pub in its various guises for many years and this is the best vibe yet. Menu isn’t cheap but it is good — roast chicken was the perfect Sunday afternoon pick-me-up with a Bloody Mary, and the desserts were all 5 out of 5(in order of preference, I tried the cheesecake, lemon posset and chocolate tart). Will definitely be going back…

Nice place for drinks. Went on a Friday night and it was busy. Great outdoor terrace area upstairs for summer evenings or if you’re a smoker. Think that shut about 1000. Smoking was then out the front downstairs. Dress for most was rather smart, blazers and shirts. Had a more upmarket version of an American diner feel to the place.
