Mustard

This seemed like a cool place but it has a feel like it’s trying to be a banker hang out and is just a little to far for the bankers to make it there. The place was quite dead for a Friday night and the cocktail list a bit too short to make it a place to stay.
The music was good although nothing special, there was plenty of seating (definitely a plus) and enough bartenders so you didn’t have to wait long for a drink. Overall, I would say this is a good place for a drink and a chat but it’s lacking the energy for the push a night out needs after a long week.
I’ll give it another chance come summer as it has the makings of a great outdoor seating pub and the location across from St. Paul’s Cathedral makes for a nice view. But if you are looking for something that will surprise you and knock your socks off, this isn’t it.

Chairs and tables on several floors, outside seating, nice food (mezze platters), the usual lager beers on tap, many screens to watch the World Cup.
