Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe

Imagine walking into the chocolate shop from the Willy Wonka film and you have a good idea of what Mr Simms looks like inside. Floor to ceiling, wall to floor sweets and chocolates and even some behind the till that they have no space for! The rich, dark wood that frames these goodies gives you a feeling of luxury and comfort making me come back again and again — I’m addicted!
I noticed the Sweet Shoppe stocks candy from many countries including a huge section from the United States, and even some sugar skulls my companion though to only be sold in Norway! The staff here are generally very knowledgeable and chatty: one spoke to me for a while about the band featured on my t-​shirt.
The only bad point is that you can spend more of your pennies than you expected here sometimes, but it is generally a great place to be and a diamond in Kingston.

This shop will make anyone feel like they are 5 years old again. A true dentists worst nightmare.
Sweet after sweet after sweet. I can’t even describe it to you — you must go and experience it for yourself.
As a person with a very sweet tooth — this is a dream place for me. Those who are watching their figures — do not visit here as you will be swept up into the sweety goodness just like I was :)
