Cafe La Cigale

My new café of choice, where I have breakfast almost every day, and often lunch (though I’m a little more varied for lunch these days).
Slightly smaller than the La Fiesta across the road, but just as friendly, if not more so. The owner spends far too much time there, but it’s also a relief as he is open to negotiation on their already average prices, and is very loyal to his regulars. Many a morning has started with «My friend! How are you? You look tired! Are you ok? The usual? With red bull today? I knew it, I can always tell! Now, what time did you go to sleep? Tsk tsk, when I was your age…».
In fact, the one lunch time I wanted a different wrap from usual, the waitress there took one look at me and said what she reckoned I would want instead — and was right. Spot on!
My only gripe here is that sometimes the mayonnaise has a slight tang to it that I can’t quite agree with, which has led to my varying my lunches a lot more now.
Otherwise, it’s groovy baby, yeah!
