Table service in theory is a good idea. In reality they forget some of your order and you have to go get your own napkins and straws anyway. That was the case with this particular trip. I’ve been here before, and every time they roll out an improvement, this particular restaurant gets worse. While we can all say that the touch screens are a good idea, the made to order burgers with ice cold unmelted cheese are not. Until they separate those two parts of the improvement out and ditch the latter, I’ll just never be a fan. As for table service… well either do the whole waiter thing or stop having counter staff bring half an order at a time while forgetting all the basics. And scrap the idea entirely at busy restaurants like this.

There are two McDonald’s within spitting distance of each other; this one isn’t quite as busy and the seating is all on one level. Service is slow, and now they have the touch screens and table service, so don’t come here in a big hurry. Otherwise it’s a typical McDonalds, with lots of seating(but at fixed stools/high long tables).

Opposite side of road to Kings Cross Station. This one is better as they have a selection of seating available(all be it small and the one on corner at Pentonville Rd has no seating). As your would expect from this chain, standard and quality same county wide. Breakfast menu served from the early hours.
