Had an awesome brunch for my other halves birthday. I had he Chorizo Hash which was delightful, although everything we ate was wonderful and the cocktails capped off a wonderful experience… highly recommended!

Went here for brunch when we were in town. The food was tasty but felt overpriced for the portion sizes. Service was good.

Not the cheapest breakfast, but definitely an interesting and unique experience, it is good to try out something difference rather than the usual all day dirty fried up, just the seasoning was a touch off for me on the day. They also has a wide range of fruit smoothies and coffee so is a great place to stop by for a drink.

Food is presented very nicely, almost like your eating food from a catalog if ONLY what you see could translate into the flavor. First off the Turkish egg was not my favorite. There was earnest desire by the chef to create something different but it needs more flavor and less over drenching with butter. The lobster dumpling(probably won’t be there anymore, it was a valentine day special wish I don’t blame them) was also a miss. Maybe if they try making the shelf into an actual dumpling and a delicious lobster filling would be a great recovery. Brutta same thing, it was served cold wish really knocked it down points, I dislike when my food is served cold. And putting avocado and cooking inside gives it a weird flavor, for me avocado is meant to go fresh on top, not backed

Pop into kopapa for a brunch and I had to say it’s overrated. Given that it’s in a prime location(and seven dials is lovely indeed), the price is perhaps justified. I had the Turkish egg, which was good but I found it slightly too rich. The major let down was the service. My friend and I was standing at the reception area and the waiter had conveniently brushed us aside. I get it that it’s busy but having someone tell me that they are fully booked and not offering to put me on the wait list to sit by bar is terrible customer service. What made it worse was the fact that the waiter had offered it to other customer beforehand but not us. When I asked to put my name on the waiting list politely, the waiter was clearly annoyed. Not cool, kopapa. In all honesty, if my friend wasn’t swinging by and the place that we wanted to go was open, I would have left when I was met with such poor customer service. FYI– If you did not make any reservations, you’ll be sitting at the bar. It’s still good. :)

The most recommended dish was the turkish eggs with whipped yogurt and hot chilli butter served with 2 toasts. I find this dish is way too over priced and the taste is not that special anyway. Next time I would probably try the french toasts then.

I can’t believe I haven’t writing a review on Kopapa before! This is the sister place of the infamous Provodores and Tapas that I particularly affectionate and it is located in one of my favourite neighborhood in London(seven dials/coven garden) I only got the Turkish eggs and I have to say that is not only the most instagrammed pictured dish from their menu but also the best breakfast. The place is large and can accommodate large groups of hungry peeps. The service is polite but not so smiley. Nevertheless this is one of my go to place when in London

Popped in for a quick bite this evening during Christmas shopping. Tables were fully booked but they had space at the bar — no problem. Bf ordered a local hoppy beer that he enjoyed and I got a White Snow Queen cocktail which had lemon curd and whisky in. For food we shared the sharing platter and the lamb Spring rolls. O myyyy were both tasty. The platter consisted of flat bread, baba ganoush(not enough), tonnes of fleshy flavoursome olives(too many as bf doesn’t like them), spiced nuts, spicy peppers, cheese and chorizo. Tonnes and all great quality. If you just try a few of these I highly recommend the nuts to nibble on and the chorizo as well. The lamb spring roll was absolutely delicious as well — crisp pastry, yummy lamb with a nice sweet dip. Service was efficient(not too quick, not too slow) and the above filled us up and came to a reasonable £35 with tip. Would come back for a full meal however their mains look awful pricey

A little bit expensive for the dinner but still good taste and environment. If you are wondering where to eat before or after the musical, I think it will be a proper choice for you to try some food there. The chicken salad is nice with a green sauce(I don’t know what it exactly is though) as chicken taste tender with a slight flavor of pepper. The chocolate milkshake is just average I think~ Hope u enjoy

Caters to the 20s — 30s brunch crowd. One of the few spots in the area serving up brunch til 4pm on Sat/Sun. Packed at 3:30pm but worth the wait for the creative, delicious Middle Eastern influenced brunch dishes! Had the spiced banana French toast with grilled bacon, orange blossom labne, tamarind raisin relish, orange vanilla syrup– delicious, but come with an appetite if you expect to finish the dish, it’s on the heavy side. Overheard a customer at the table next to me rave about the Turkish eggs dish. That’s what I’ll be having next time. Full menu is also served at the bar and the wait staff are super friendly.

I had first been here a year ago for a crab burger(fantastic) and also another time for the Turkish eggs(also great). I came here after being reminded that the Turkish eggs were on London’s must have brunches but I must say on a re-visit I was disappointed. Egg, chilli butter and yogurt. Too much yogurt! And all for quite a price. I just don’t think it’s worth it. It would be nice to have the side of bread with some butter too. Regardless of whether you go to dip it or not. I lovd it the first time I had it, but I reckon you could get this for cheaper and with added extras near Green Lanes or Stoke Newington. I suppose it is Ciovent Garden. It definitely needs updating with a bit of chorizo or Turkish sausage included with the meal in my honest opinion. It needs it without doubt.

Kopapa is a Kiwi restaurant and while I have enjoyed an Australia brunch from Granger & Co I’d never had food from New Zealand so was interested to see what spin they would put on their dishes. The first thing that caught my eye on their menu was the Crosstown doughnuts — naturally — and the second their sea salt caramel & vanilla milkshake. I actually just really wanted a nice cold glass of coke with my brunch but Rob took one for the team and ordered one just so I could taste it!(OK maybe he actually did want to try it a little bit too) Choosing what to eat was a more difficult but I was determined to go for something different from my usual avocado on toast with poached eggs(although here they do mix it up a bit with some added goats cheese) and decided to try the chorizo hash. It came with two fried eggs, rocket, sriracha chilli sauce and crispy shallots and it was… hot! In the spicy sense. I don’t know if it was just because the first bite I took had a lot of sauce on it or if I’m a wimp(Rob didn’t think it was very spicy at all) but I found the sauce pretty overpowering and wished I’d asked for it on the side. The chorizo hash itself was really good though. I think the dish would have worked better with poached eggs rather than fried but that’s really just personal opinion. Rob went for the hot smoked salmon on toast with spinach, poached eggs & yuzu hollandaise sauce which looked incredible although as happened at Caravan there was a distinct shortage in the toast department! We were satiated but not full so thought we would treat ourselves to some of those lovely doughnuts we’d spotted when we arrived but sadly our waitress never actually offered us the dessert menu or asked if we wanted any more drinks so we gave up waiting and called it a day. To be fair it was probably the right call as I don’t think the spicy sauce sat well with my stomach! I appreciate that the restaurant was packed but the service really wasn’t up to scratch and the tables are all super close together which makes it really noisy as well. Probably not somewhere I’d return any time soon.

A really really nice restaurant. I can’t think of another term other than to say its ‘nice.’ Food was good, wines are good and it has a nice atmosphere. For me, there is nothing too memorable about Kopapa that would have me raving about it, reccommending it to other people or ever feeling a need to go back, but if you’re in the area and looking food a nice evening out, then sure, just stop in here.

Let’s face it. Brunch is the best meal on the weekend. Especially if you have had a few drinks the night before and the thought of making breakfast makes you want to roll right back into bed. So it is hardly a surprise that I know of a few local spots around London that serve a great brunch. The Delaney, Raoul’s, and the Breakfast Club to name a few. But a friend of mine took me to Kopapa this weekend and I was amazed that I had never been here before. I had the Turkish eggs of course, which I believe is their claim to fame. Let me tell you, there is no other way I would rather eat eggs now. These Turkish eggs have ruined me for all other eggs. I fell in love with it. Doping sourdough bread in a bowl of Turkish eggs with parsley, butter and god knows what else, will make you want more. I also had the salted caramel and banana donut but didn’t much care for it. Best just to stick to things that are not found at Greggs. Coffee was good. Probably Monmouth blend. You just have to go to Kopapa and have those Turkish eggs.

Love this place and those turkish eggs!!! They dont take reservations on the weekend and i also packed when ive tried to just pop in there, finally managed to try these over Christmas with my sister… And fell in love!!! Hadnt managed to come back until now… But had to work for it! Three times my client breakfast was cancelled! But finay once we made it, it was jst as good as i remembered. Those turkish eggs are well worth the detour! Such a special dish incredibly tasty! But they also have very good coffee and a great variety of smoothies including fruits such as yuzu which you dont find everywhere. I want to go again!

My trip to London was based completely around three things: spending quality time with my bestie, seeing some touristy sites since it was my first time to the UK and eating good food. Luckily most of the trip was spent doing two or three of these items simultaneously and thus, the sole focus of my trip was effectively food. I’d done a good amount of research on what to eat before I arrived and that list was further padded by recommendations of my friend. When she described Turkish eggs to me, I quickly added it to the list of must tries. She picked Kopapa and we headed there for Sunday brunch. Apparently brunch isn’t quite as popular in London as it is in DC but we still needed a booking since yesterday happened to be Mother’s Day. The restaurant opened at 9:30 and we were one of the first tables seated. Ami ordered a mocha and I grabbed cappuccino. She said the mocha was a bit too intense and I believe it since my cappuccino was also too chocolatey due to the bit of dark cocoa powder that topped half of my foam. It was a bit distracting and I would have preferred for it to have been omitted so my taste buds could focus on the depth of the coffee instead. Our Turkish eggs(£9.5) quickly arrived and were absolutely remarkable. I can honestly say without giving it a second thought that this was the best egg dish I’ve ever had. The herbs and spices added so much flavor, the two eggs were poached nicely, the yogurt was thick and creamy, the chili butter was butter(aka heavenly), and all of it was pulled together by two large slices of nutty toast that held up to the taste and texture of the egg/yogurt/butter mix. Brunch is my favorite meal of the day and this dish is well worth a jump across the pond to get. The fact that we only saw one table in the entire restaurant that didn’t have at least one order of Turkish eggs is telling and both Ami and I questioned what was wrong with the couple that hadn’t ordered them. I was highly tempted to get the sea salt caramel banana donut as dessert since they’re on display when you first walk into Kopapa. It was huge and the flavors sounded well worth the £3.5. Though Ami was willing to entertain my gluttony, I opted to save myself for the markets that were to come rather than stuffing myself further after having such a rich meal already. Plus at that point nothing could top how happily satiated I was. The one subpar part of our experience here was the service, though the lack of attention from the waitstaff is, I believe, more of a cultural difference than anything. Just be aware that it will be more difficult to flag someone down for more water or your check if you’re sitting in the back of the restaurant.

Yeaaaaah, maybe take a pass. Unless you’re rich and skinny. Are you? No. Me neither. So I went to Kopapa for a girls’ brunch recently. First I want to say they had lovely service so no faulting them there. The issue was just the price and the taste. As soon as we sat down we ordered a couple of breakfast cocktails. The Orchard Fizz, apple, bison grass vodka and champagne. At £11.50 each, I expected some good stuff. Nope. We got a champagne glass cocktail with apple slices on top. I really wanted to like it but it was just bad. And so expensive. I mean, seriously? £11.50 for a breakfast cocktail is way overpriced for just a restaurant. The gourmet donuts caught my eye so we ordered one each at £3.50 a pop. Sea salt caramel banana sounded divine, as did the peanut butter and jelly. But the sea salt was hugely overpowered by the banana which looked a bit like grey sludge. I regretted the decision to order them. The peanut butter and jelly one was ok. For my main course, I got the avocado on toast. It sounded great. Served with chilli, goats’ cheese, mint & lemon oil. On arrival it was the most disappointing and overrated £8 I have ever spent. Two dry slices of sourdough, with what looked like half an avocado, less than a fingernail of cheese and some oil. It’s an embarrassment for somewhere to charge money for that. My friend had the much vaunted Turkish eggs which looked like a big greasy bowl of oil and egg. I wanted to like this place and for £30 for breakfast, I really should have but it was terrible.

Went for brunch on a busy Sunday morning with a couple of friends. Pros: The french toast with bacon that I had was very tasty and filling. Not too sweet, had a lovely spiced flavour, and came with a dollop of yummy natural yoghurt. My smoothie(orange, kiwi and baobab) was also very good and just the thing for my hangover. Cons: Ridiculously overpriced avocado on toast. It was comically small, with very little cheese and priced at £8. Total joke of a dish. The smoothie tasted good, but I wouldn’t pay £5.50 for it again. It was good food, but it felt on the expensive side for what it was. I don’t think we’ll be going back again — there are other places with food just as good, but at better value.

Great place to have brunch! Close to Piccadilly Circus, this restaurant is right off a very nice looking street populated by theatres, statuses and cool looking buildings. The restaurant itself is nice inside with good décor but nothing too exciting. Staff are courteous and helpful. Now getting to the food, it’s really good with a variety of choices, I had the Turkish eggs with toast which was really good. It has a spicy undertone which pairs very well with the sour dough toast. Definitely try this dish!

Heard so many good things about this place, so thought it was finally time to check it out. We arrived around 11, which is peak time for brunch, but surprisingly only had to wait 20 minutes for a table. The food was a little on the small side and for the price was a little disappointing. The was a smidgen of goats cheese on the avocado toast and only a few pieces of avocado. Being the massive avocado fan I am, I was a more than a tad disappointed that there wasn’t a larger serving of it. The smoothie made up for the disappointment with the food size. I opted for the mango, banana and lucuma one. It was so delicious, with none of the flavours overpowering each other. Yes a little pricey, at over 5 pounds, but well worth the money. Despite, being brunch time, we opted for a dessert. Having tried crosstown donuts before, couldn’t resist trying one of their other flavours. My friend and I split the sea salt caramel one and wow was it amazing. It easily, the best donut I ever eaten. The dough was superb and complemented perfectly by the banana cream filling and the sea salt caramel. I can’t recommend it highly enough. All in all, this place is well worth a visit, but a little bit on the pricey side.
