Just another café nero. This one is a bt too small and can become crowded

The coffee here is okay. What I really go to Caffe Nero for is the selection of bottled waters. This place is heaven on earth if you are really looking for some high quality bottled water artfully arranged in the refrigerated shelves. Evian, San Pellegrino, you name it — they have it. Truly impressed. Would recommend to all of my friends. Esp in this London heat wave!

Another nice Nero, with a nice view, friendly staff and delicious hot chocolate. Sometimes it’s a bit too crowded, and the ground floor is rather small. However, if you do get a good seat by the window, reading a book or chatting with a friend, while sipping your hot beverage and watching the people go by is a wonderful way to spend the a cold, rainy afternoon.

A café shop like Nero provides a much relaxed environment. The barista was very polite and professional. I didn’t wait longer than 5 minutes for my order of hot chocolate. There is seating available in the upper and lower level of the shop. In the late evening, the upstairs is closed and the lower level stays open. The power outlets to charge laptops and phones are few and far.

Right across the street from my hotel, I visited daily. Good café Mocha but that’s about it… I certainly never received service with a smile at this location — very indifferent. Just going through the motions. The Mocha is rather good — not too sweet and served at the perfect temperature. I enjoyed it consistently each morning. I tried the muffins twice but they were incredibly dry — may have been sitting around for a while. I find it odd that a coffee shop charges more if you«eat or drink in» but I guess that’s customary in London as I experienced it at many other places. BK

Great location at the corners of Monmouth and Earlham Streets, this Caffé Nero is great for a quick stop over lunch or if you’re waiting on a friend. I sat down recently with a Chai Latte(take semi-skimmed milk & no cinnamon on top for it to be absolutely perfect!) and needed to get some work done. Unfortunately, this branch is usually quite busy with people walking in and out all the time. Advantages for those internet addicts: free wi-fi and some plugs to ensure you can stay for a few hours. You can also sit down downstairs where it is a little quieter and where the toilets are located. You can find men’s and women’s one each but make sure to take some paper as the hand dryer never really works! So, have a look. Great location, though quite busy. Good service though not a ble to control the dirty dishes on the tables(my empty cup and the cups on the table next to me stood untouched for more than one hour!). Buy a Chai Latte and be happy!(I have been searching for the perfect Chai Latte for four years and finally found it here.)

One of my go-to spots for a proper cup of coffee. Sometimes, you just want something familiar and know it will be good. Nothing fabulous about their coffee, but nothing bad either. Very convienent when out and about because their shops are plentiful to find.

Not the Monmouth coffee shop but this place is decent. I have been to a couple in other countries it is located in, and the service/quality is pretty much the same. It’s a bit Starbucks like but has a hint of Caribou/local coffee shop appeal. Definately better than Starbucks.

Much prefer these guys over Starbucks — always seemed to be ample seating, and I seemed to like their espresso a little better.

Café Nero was a good alternative to Starbucks in my opinion. The americano I ordered was just right and the espresso used was quite tasty. All the items were reasonably priced and the staff was both friendly and helpful. This location in particular had both indoor and outdoor seating which was a nice option. I also bought some fruit here that was quite good. Overall I really enjoyed Café Nero. Plus, as any coffee shop they had a ton of drink options.

I was suprised to find so many different coffee places in London. It made me feel like I was back home in London. Not only do they have Starbucks here, local independent coffee places, but also chains like Caffe Nero and Costas, and they are EVERYWHERE. On one street you could find several of these different joints. I would have to say that between Caffe Nero and Costas, I liked Nero’s coffee better. I am not sure if locals would agree, but it seemed that Nero was much busier than Costas. I didn’t try any of the food offerings. But each place had the typical sweets and savory items to select from, and sandwich offerings for the lunch crowd.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Übrigens: In London gibt’s keinen Coffee to go, es gibt Coffee in oder out.

I have a soft spot for Café Nero on Seven Dials because after I finished dance class at Pineapple, many of the dancers would cram themselves into the basement at Nero’s and enjoy a drink and bite together. Café Nero is a small little café in a great location that always seems busy. The range of coffee are good, and they occasionally bring out different kinds of smoothie and frappuccino. The cake selection isn’t huge but what they do have is nice. I’m a fan of the carrot cake and the strange pre-packed waffle biscuits. There is nothing special about this chain or this branch. The standard never waivers though and if you can get a seat on the sofa’s downstairs, it is quite a relaxing vibe.
