Over the last fifteen years karate seems to of shifted away from its traditional roots towards a more sport focused style. For the purists who want to keep to a more traditional style of self-defence, Kissaki Karate could be the club for you. Training is on a Monday and Wednesday at London Metropolitan University, Tower Hill campus. Classes are taught by 4th Dan Colin Barnaby. He teaches a Shotokan style of karate with elements of(tuite) joint locking,(kyusho-jutsu(vital points.) The classes are small, relaxed and a great environment for someone not wanting an ‘in-yur-face’ style of self-defence.
