This store and the whole chain is a ripoff, which is a shame because I like a lot of the products they carry.
Unfortunately they’ve built a on operation the depends on a false sense of a great deal… buy one, get one for a penny or half price (or whatever).
It seems a great deal until you realize the original product is priced 20−40% or more higher than you’d fine elsewhere.
I was in there today and they were selling, for example, a one month’s supply of protein powder for almost 60 quid. The same brand and product was being sold online for 25% less.
Once I showed them the cost per serving, even the staff agreed that many of the «good deals» were actually B.S.
I’m normally a huge supporter of local businesses, but in light of their business practices, I’d suggest buying all product from online sites.
