Good pub, nice staff.
Food is surprisingly good, A place to strongly recommend in this neighborhood

The worst service ever. Do not even bother coming here. Rude staff. Took twenty minutes to make eggs. Compelled forgot to even put my order through until I asked where it was 10 mins later. Just bad.

Beer ok, best to avoid the food. I’d lived around the corner for a while, but never been here other than for a beer. Had burger and chips. Burger was OK, not much flavour but had worse, chips were some of the worst I’ve tasted — looked good, but were cold and stodgy with a slightly unpleasant flavour. Told the waitress, that was the last I heard. So left. People on next table had the Sunday roast for £17 (I think) — looked very poor value for money.

This is a bit of a higher end pub, I’d say. Which isn’t very surprising, considering it’s right across from the convention centre.
I popped in here for breakfast, thinking it’s just another good old English pub kind of deal, but when food arrived I discovered that the portions were quite small. This was when I realised that they’re apparently aiming for the higher class clientele of the area. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted really good, but the price was a bit steep for what it was.
Still, tastewise it was one of the best English breakfasts I’ve ever been served and the staff were very polite and helpful, so I can’t complain!

I am attending a conference across the street and have been sitting here at lunch time for over 15 minutes, and no one will wait on me. It is not that busy. I have tried to get the waitstaff to come over and they just glare back. Clearly an unhappy staff and no interest to serve an out of towner. Guess I will go next door where the reviews were better anyway. Would not advise any non local to go here and will tell my hotel as well.

Disappointed. The fish and chips came with a handful of chips. Fish was good and the beers are ok.

Was a pretty decent experience until I swallowed a fish hone. Found about 10 good size bones in all. If you’re going to charge that much for a piece of cod, you should probably be a bit more careful.

I went here after going to an exhibition in Olympia, it is just across the road. I was disappointed after reading the Unilocal reviews, yes it has an extensive range of beers on tap but they are all lagers or keg beers. This is not to my taste so I walked straight out again. It was also packed and every table was occupied, so it is clearly popular. I can’t comment on the food as I did not stay. If you like lager or keg beers it might suit you but I have to score it quite low.

Full disclosure, this rating is based on one cup of coffee. Having ordered a flat white, I was presented with something that I think a Kiwi would disown. The coffee, when I found it, was tasty, but marred by some over aerated milk that tasted of nothing. The ambiance was lovely, staff friendly, and the food looked good, just be careful with your coffee order.

Good selection of beers and quick service even when busy. I sampled the Chiswick ale on offer for £2 a pint and it was tasty. My wife tried the fish and chips and thoroughly enjoyed it. The pub was very busy, but ordering the food was easy and it was served quickly in under 25 mins. Be warned it is a noisy pub, as there is a wood floor and high ceiling, so the general chatter is amplified.
Stayed the night in the top floor room and it was great — comfy bed, kitchenette, and dining area though the bathroom was a little cramped. Noise was not intrusive either from the street or the bar in full swing. Reported an issue with the bathroom and had £20 knocked off the bill — very kind.
Breakfast was delicious — they do a full English or a bigger version. They also do a couple of salmon dishes and eggs Benedict. There is a vegetarian option. Tables provided with pastries, cereals, yoghurt and selection of jams, though this time they had run out of marmalade and strawberry jam!
Definitely will use the pub again on my next trip to London.

My first food experience in England was coated in anticipation. Everyone says the food in England is crap! The beer won’t be cold! Well, I am happy to say that none of those ideals are true at Hand & Flower.
This place serves the famous non-​American pint of beer. This is to say that you’ll get 40% more beer in your glass, that is 40% bigger. Weird, right? Hand & Flower has multiple selections to keep your whistle wet. In fact, the beer was so good, I visited three times in the space of four days. The food is also excellent; hearty and English-​y. Perfect for a cool fall evening.
Yes, there a lot of selections for beer in London. However, this may be a destination spot for someone who doesn’t stay at the Hilton Olympia right across the street.

Muy ingles muy buena comida

So our first exposure to a London Pub and we hit a home run! Great ales, even better cider and the food has been fantastic. Been there twice so far this week and will definitely go again before we leave. Met some local friends here and they say, yes we have found a place much better then the average London Pub. Can’t tell you how good the food has been, so yummy. Only negative, avoid the corner near the door to upstairs, strange smell lurks, but that should not keep you from this place. The food and the beverages have been so very good.

This pub does serve a good pint of ale. I will give it that. And some ale I hadn’t come across before. I just can’t get excited by the place.
There are a lot of bars like this these days, that do the right things with the drinks but have this trendy, modern interior that is instantly forgettable. Has some TVs around too. I think.I’m pretty sure. look I already told you I forgot. It’s proximity to the Olympia means it probably doesn’t need to be special. Its got a natural flow of custom and so as long as it keeps it’s drinks quality high then it will do well.
I might by back. if I’m going to the Olympia.
