Haart of Brixton Lettings

If you care about your property then DO NOT go with Haart. I’ve had a series of terrible tenants; poor maintenance, doing things to the property that have not been approved by the landlord (drilling holes, installing satellite dishes etc). In every instance, tenants have said «Haart told us we could do it» and Haart saying «We didn’t». Ordinarily, I’d give the benefit of the doubt to Haart, but they too have told me things in writing only to mess up or go back on their written word.
They’re too busy to care about managing your property, they’re too full of «yes» people who cannot stay true to their word and considering I’ve had a Managed option, I’ve ended up having to do more of the leg work on managing my property than they have.
Go for a more local smaller agent, companies that have just a couple of local offices (Beresfords are one I’ve heard about).
HAART TOTALLY SUCK at their job

Lies, deception and betrayalsounds like a hollywood movie right? No it’s just another day in the Haart Brixton office.
Extortionate agent fees would leave you to believe that some sort of service would be offered. This is sadly not the case.
This estate agent is terrible!
Our problems have included:
No compensation for not having heatingfor 2 months!
Were told our garage was the one next to our
is several blocks away!
Given our move in date and then told two days before that it would not be possible to move then in as the tenant would not have vacated (obviously trying to receive double rent on the same property)
Hidden VAT costs on the agency fees
Terrible service from the property management team
SO many other issuestoo many to list here. These guys are absolute slimeballs and exactly the type of people that give estate agents such a bad name.

PRICEY, NO CUSTOMER CARE, SLIMEBALLS!
