Being blind as a bat, I spend 100% of my waking hours behind massive glasses. And since I need to change these, I wanted to make sure I found THEPAIR that were going to sit on my nose for the next 3 years. At this point, I had been everywhere. Just not to the Specsavers closer to home(don’t ask). I was expecting it to be really busy on a Saturday and to have to fend for myself. And nope: unlike any other places I went, I got greeted by a lovely lady who accepted the hard task of helping me find a new pair of glasses. And funnily enough, I managed to get the opinion of all the staff members to help me pick. I came back the next day for my eye test, and was served by other staff members who were as welcoming: they took the time, they helped me select what was best for me in terms of value and for long-term usage. The only thing that I would say, is that the shop is pretty old and shabby, and definitely not the most welcoming one I got to visit. So: if you’re South London, you can definitely go there to get your glasses: people are helpful and nice, and the selection is good enough for you to find what you’re looking for. And don’t get too put off by the looks of the place, yeah? It’s for your own good!
