Great for a relatively cheap and tasty breakfast in the middle of Westfields. My recommendation has to be the Smoked Salmon Egg Scramble with Rye bread — great way to start the day/weekend.

Exceptional drinks, but be fussy which one you’re taking. The non alcoholic coctails are very good, refreshing with fresh mint and crushed ice. Mojito is served in a jar like glass.

This was the first time I went to Giraffe restaurant, thought I’d give it a try but then I left very disappointed, so it might be the last as well. The food and service are both average for the price they charge. I had the Chicken Schnitzel, which was very dry and had hardly any garlic herb butter or salad in it. For £11.25, I’d expect a bit more food in my plate. Cocktails were nice if you want to look for the bright side… Not really my place.

Seems to be the place for adults with kids to go. Nothing special although it does remind me of being at Heathrow T5 a lot. The view over to the Olympic Park is a nice little perk but since I live close by and think the park is ugly, I’m not really bothered by the view. You can have a decent burger with trimmings for a tenner but I don’t think I’d come here if it weren’t for friends insisting upon it. Plenty of places nearby to eat, Nandos, GBK, Pizza Express, Wagamama not to mention the entire food court all for similar prices but I think the main draw of Giraffe is that it does a bit of everything. Not much atmosphere but décor is fun and families seem to like it for some reason(perhaps because they don’t feel embarrassed when their kids misbehave?) Not a fan but I can’t fault them on food or service(which was swift if a little impersonal.) On the bright side there is a 10% student discount and their pancakes are brilliant. It’s probably one of the only places at Westfield Stratford where you can enjoy a brunch menu.
