Exeter Street Bakery

Ein Stück authentisches Italien inmitten Londons. Der Café ist natürlich ausgezeichnet, aber es gibt auch frische Straßenpizza, Brot aus der Familienbäckerei und allerlei Süßes aus dem Backofen. Für mich die erste Adresse, wenn die Sehnsucht nach italienischer Lebensart zu stark wird. Alles köstlich.

Great place to get super fresh just-​baked-​in-​the-​oven Italian focaccia and thin crust pizza slices. A few tables outside and some stools inside. The café late is to die for. Highly recommended.

Great little café/​bakery. Everything is home made, staff are vert friendly and close to the park! Great for a post run pit stop :-)

I love this Italian café come bread shop as the food seems authentic, is generous and very fresh. They will do anything to help. On the down side its Illy coffee and only a few places to sit inside.

Oh man, I just read an article that mentioned sfogliatelle and it reminded me of how much I yearn to visit the Exeter Street Bakery again. It is by far the best Italian bakery in London! Their sweet sfogliatelle are scrumptious, finger licking good. They have AMAZING rolls with added ingredients such as herbs or raisins. Their flat breads are out of this world. I would often order pizzas to bring to girlfriends’ apartments when we had a wine and pizza night in. My fave were the slices of onion and rosemary pizza. But seriously, they were all good.
Another good plan is to visit the café on a weekend morning, order a café latte (also excellent), and sit outside with a muffin or other such pastry (namely: panettone) to watch the people go by on nearby Kensington High Street. The coffee is rich, not burnt, creamy. I spent (and gained!) a lot of pounds and a lot of hours here, but it was always worth it! I can’t wait to make a trip to London again. Exeter Street will definitely be the first stop on my list.

Wonderful Kensington lunch venue, grab a couple of slices of pizza (Courgette or Potato with Rosemary). The chocolate pizza is amazing and a great treat for friends. All the bread is great quality and super tasty, stocked in certain Waitrose and the John Lewis food Hall, though for the best experience it’s worth making the trip to Kensington.
