This is a very casual and laid back venue with excellent food and attentive service; I really enjoyed my visit! Portions were very well sized, and well worth the amount paid. My only criticism is that change was not bought back from paying by cash. It should be bought back so I can decide how much to provide for service — not bringing anything back is rude and presumptuous!

From the name on in, this is a hipster paradise. And that’s just fine with me. It’s a very casual place. People were sitting, chatting, working, babies were asleep on the couches, our breakfast here was relaxed and easy. So do not come here in a rush, the food came out slowly, our order was taken slowly, nothing happens fast here. But because of that, the food was made fresh and it came out hot and our breakfast was nice. The classic English breakfast was excellent. The pancake, less so(too airy, too sweet, not enough substance.) But the meats and the eggs and especially the halloumi cheese was a win. I hear it’s a tapas spot in the evening, so I may have to come back and check it out again. All I know is that there are worst spots to hang out for an hour or two on a weekend for some breakfast.

This place is my new favorite in the area. Shhhh don tell nobody. And only go on weekday evenings, you know, keep space free for me… please? It looks like any hipster café, with great breakfast choices(they have pancakes too), but in the evening it turns into this amazing tapas place. Low key, great quality, yum. They have lunch time sandwiches but I’ve never had them. yet ;) For the tapas dinner we had a super friendly waitress with good recommendations for choices and amounts for the three of us. With wine and cocktails and food it was a bit on the pricey side. But I would pay again definitely, just not going to make a saturday habit of dinner here you know. You should totally come here. But don’t. But do.

I went here a couple of months ago with a couple of friends for a Sunday hangover brunch. Yes, another hangover meal. There is a theme. The waiter was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere could not be faulted. The furniture was doing for the rustic wooden feel, but that also meant busted. Honestly, you could fart and blow one of their chairs to pieces. Food was reasonably priced, but took quite a while to come, and the Eggs Benedict was pretty dry. Stingy on the Hollandaise, and so-so bacon. Also, there was a maple syrup ring around the dist, but it felt rather pointless as it was basically stuck to the plate, solid, and not touching the food, so I guess, decorative? Mind you it smelled really acidic. Odd. Their OJ is fresh as, and definitely worth a punt. I don’t know if I would go back(or maybe I’d just order something else?), but the lovely staff and atmosphere make it a nice three star job :)
