Tracing back to my Brazilian roots(born and raised — 10 years in Rio and São Paulo), I hold very high standards for real Brazilian churrasco… … and honestly, this place is pretty damn good. But I also somewhat regard it as Fogo de Chão’s naïve younger cousin. It has that authentic Brazilian backbone, but still needs a little bit of work on some of those finer details in bringing it to samba life. Pros: All-you-can-eat, great Picanha, good variety of meat, friendly Brazilian staff, Guarana, black beans, and you know it’s true Brazilian when the farofa’s out. Cons: Fairly pricey, missing some essentials such as palmito, pão de queijo, and coração de galinha(soo gooood), service can be a little slow, they replay the same concert on DVD over and over. There’s also something not quite right with the way the caipirinha is mixed. I tipped over to four because it is the best Brazilian I have found in London and each time I go back I see some sort of improvement. High hopes for this one! PS. THISPLACEISNOTARGENTINE

I had high hopes for this place. I regret to have had ignored my instincts to run out the door once I took my seat. The atmosphere was unpleasant, eerie, and cold. The staff didn’t seem very welcoming either. Even the couple who sat down close by had walked out 5 mins later! Yet I thought, «C’mon, give it a chance». I was foolish. The menus were broken and confusing to follow. After asking the waitress, I understood that they had a buffet selection, including skewers of meat distributed by staff(£22ish), or a main dish(£12ish), which was said to come with potatoes, rice, salad, and your selected meat. My boyfriend and I decided on a main dish. When the food finally arrived, I was very disappointed to have waited for a dish that had two lonely baby potatoes, flimsy rice(looked like re-heated-in-a-microwave type of rice), coleslaw(that could have possibly been bought from Sainsbury’s basic brand range), and 6 «cubes» of beef. I didn’t bother with dessert, which is a rarity. Never again.

My wife and I went there on a Sunday evening for coffee. The owner and waitress were so rude and they eventually said they would not be able to serve us coffee after we were seated at the table for 10 min. This is because it was dinner time and they preferred we have dinner. At least they could have told us before we sat down or been apologetic about it. No, the owner was rude and turned around and went back. Bad place.

A new Brazilian buffet bar where you get the fixings, but various slabs of meat are brought to you fresh off the grill, and sliced onto your plate. Guaranteed a huge amount of meat in a place that’s certainly friendlier than your average serve-yourself buffet. The staff seemed frosty at first but gradually warmed up as the evening went on. Highly recommended for carnivores with an appetite

It was so noisy — I mean, music bumping from the club downstairs at 7PM — we could barely hear each other talk, and left before ordering. If you value your eardrums as much as your tastebuds, pursue other Brazilian options.

Churrasqueria is the name you give to a place that specializes in meat cuts, Argentinean style, and it’s by all means the best way to eat meat. I guess it’s my Latin-American spirit talking, but truly if you find a good churrasqueria you have to share the love. This place though is not that place. The food was ok, and the service as well. But my guess is that because its so close to Oxford Street, not generally known for good restaurants, lots of people come here and at times it feels like they don’t put such a big effort in the presentation of the dishes. But it wasn’t bad at all. So I mixed feelings, and I’m still searching for the perfect churrasqueria.
