Before I begin reviewing Cherished Nails, let me share a bit of background. I am an avid manicure wearer and cannot live more than 2 maybe 3 weeks without my nails being pampered and attended to. I am happy to pay for a high price Shellac manicure if done well and if I feel as though the service merits me relinquishing £35 on what is seemingly nothing more than a whimsical fancy. Having recently relocated from Barcelona where I went to one woman who did my nails amazingly, I was quite skeptical of finding a good nail place upon my first attempt in London. I found Cherished and was not disappointed. To begin, I called to make an appointment at 11am for 4pm Saturday afternoon. When I arrived the place was not over crowded but rather had a steady bevy of clients. I was sat immediately because of my appointment but also a girl who walked in a few minutes behind me was also attended quite quickly. The girl who first began my nails was very informed on gel manicures and happily removed my existing polish thoroughly and quickly. A second person completed my manicure in just as efficient and professional a manner. I’ve gone to salons where either the technicians take so much time because they are not able to carefully apply the nail polish without it staining the cuticle area or side of the nail bed, or conversely completely stain your fingers with over application of the polish in an effort to be quick. Cherished was able to provide me quick service with excellent end result.
